What can I say but the whole show from start to finish was one of the best experiences ever.

The show opened with The Matt Schofield Trio who were a superb act to start with and set the scene with what was to come.

Joe's set started with some excellent drumming by Marco Minneman with Joe appearing to start playing Cool #9 and that just set the scene for the whole show which was a display of guitar excellence by Joe Satriani. I was facing Bryan Beller and his Bass runs were superb and added to the excellent drumming of Marco Minneman and the multi talented and brilliant Mike Keneally on keyboards and guitar.

During the set Joe and Mike had a bit of a guitar dual going on which was superb to witness and just added to what was one of the best live shows I had ever been to.

Having seen a lot of bands who play the larger UK venues nothing comes close to the sound and atmosphere of the Joe Satriani Unstoppable Momentum show at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall and this memory of an unforgettable night watching Joe Satriani and his very talented band will stay with me forever.

hey joe myself and my fiancee christine had a wonderful time at the concert, it was great standing on stage where you stood that night, and meeting you was awesome, i have met you 3 times now, in 2006 symphony hall birmingham, 2010 at the london guitar show, and now at the wolverhampton civic, it was great to meet you, although the organisation for meeting you wasn't as good as it was when i met you at the symphony hall in birmingham 2006, but still awesome, anyways loved the new tracks you played got to learn them now for my tribute show, awesome show can't wait to see you in 2015 when you come to england again take care and all the best for the US tour martin

Before the show even started I was treated to a 50 minute guitar lesson with the man himself!! Thank you you so for sharing your inspiration and techniques with me in a meeting I will remember for the rest of my life, you truly are an inspiration to me and many other guitarists all over the world, was a real pleasure to meet you.

The unstoppable momentum show was outstanding , great musicians , great pieces, great set list . Fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Take Care

Curtis

8th time of seeing Joe, and his playing just seems to get better and better. IMHO, Unstoppable Momentum is his best studio album in a decade and so to hear the whole album played was fine by me. Some of the new songs were just brilliant, and mixed in with the oldies (no MPHGT though!) it made for what was just a fabulous night.

No Jeff, and still no Stu, but the new guys were fantastic and the standard of musicianship on stage was simply brilliant.

The only downside for me was Wolvo Civic Hall. I went to my first concert there 20 or so years ago, and apart from a few new hand driers in the toilets, I don't think £1 has been spent on the place. Seating which is probably ok in a Junior School assembly hall and appalling acoustics did their best to try to spoil a great evening.

Please Joe, schedules allowing, next time, go back to The Symphony Hall, a venue which is befitting of a man who is not a Master of his craft, but THE Master.

Another 10/10 evening with Joe, simply because I can't give it 11/10.

Thanks Joe, it was a pleasure and a joy to see you play, please come back soon.
