I attended Joe's concert on 10/29 in Ruth Ekerd Hall in Clearwater, Florida. This was my third Satriani concert. Joe was on fire! And Stu's bass solo was terrific. My only complaint is that in the 3 times I have seen Joe he has played essentially the same set list, with the exception of the songs from the new album he is promoting. This one was slightly different however with the addition of "Ghost" and "Time Machine". But songs like "Ice 9" "Satch Boogie" "Flying in a Blue Dream" "Surfing with the Alien" "Always with You, Always with Me" "Summer Song" "Super Collassal" and "Crowd Chant" which accounts for half of his set he has played every time I have seen him, also these are all on his DVD's. I would Kill to hear "Love Thing" "Cryin" "Searching" "Is there love in Space", among dozens of others in concert. C'mon Joe, you have a catalog of hundreds of songs, you have got to mix it up a little more. However if you decided to play the same songs again I would probably still come out because your shows really are the best.

THE PLACE WAS PACKED AND 'THE ALIEN' TOOK US ALL INTO HIS OWN WORLD AGAIN. DO NOT BE FOOLED, JOE SATRIANI IS "THE TRUE GUITAR HERO". HE DON'T NEED NO STINKING VIDEO GAME TO PROVE IT EITHER. AWESOME CONCERT, AGAIN. HE LEFT EVERYONE ON THEIR FEET. HE'S THE ONLY GUY I CAN THINK OF THAT CAN TAKE THE STAGE WITH ONLY A GUITAR, AND COMPLETELY OWN IT, LEAVING EVERYBODY AMAZED LOOKING AT EACH OTHER WITH A SLACK JAW. THAT WAS REALLY COOL. HE'S LIVING EVERY GUITAR PLAYERS DREAM. HE'S BLOWING PEOPLE AWAY AND LOVING IT. MY 11th SHOW AND IT WAS JUST AS INCREDIBLE AND ENERGETIC AS THE 1st ONE. ONE WOULD THINK, WHAT CAN HE DO THAT I HAVEN'T ALREADY SEEN. WELL THAT WASN'T A PROBLEM! THE GUY IS 'THE MAN WITH THE GUITAR'. ALL OTHERS, CAN ONLY WISH THEY HAD HIS ORIGINALITY AND COMPLETE PERFECTION. WOW !!! AND I DO MEAN WOW. GREAT JAM WITH 'THE MOUNTAIN MAN' LESLIE AT THE END. STORMY MONDAY WAS THE BLUES DELUXE. GREAT JOB EVERYONE. I AM AGAIN, WAITING FOR THE NEXT VENTURE FROM 'THE SATCHURATOR'....
