Well, this was the 5th time I saw Joe live and he certainly didn't dissappoint!!! He is still on top of his game. Mountain was good, but I kinda miss the days when Joe would simply do "an evening with Joe Satriani" and play for 2+ hours. No disrespect to Mountain, but I wish Joe would have played longer. But anyways, it was an excellent show as always. We were treated to (in no particular order): Surfing with the alien, Satch Boogie, Ice9, Always with me Always with You, FLying in a Blue Dream, One Big Rush, Summer Song, Cool#9, Time Machine, Super Collossal, Crowd Chant, Overdriver, I Just Wanna Rock, Revelation, Andalusia, Ghosts, + 2 blues songs w/ Leslie West. Overall a really good set list. And if I missed any song, would someone please let me know? But I think that's all he played...I know, kinda short for Joe...that's why I miss the "evening w/ Joe"-type of shows...but anywho...

What a treat! First time ever I have been in the very front of any show. You blew us away Joe. You probably won't remember me, but I was the blonde at the front with a red shirt and my son was one person over to your right with the skull cap on. You are everything to him. He is 19 and has been playing since 11 yrs old and I have to say that he is amazing. Not as amazing as you, but I believe someday he will be. He has an amazing ear and can literally pick up any harmonies to any song and just start playing along, Once or twice is all it takes for him to memorize a song in its entirety. He has a my space page and I am asking you to go to it and leave some feedback for him. It would mean the world to him. He has a couple of originals there (the drum machine he uses is a little rough though). Google "LOUIS TAVERNA MANDEVILLE LOUISIANA" and you will be directed to his myspace page.
