Hello, all! I was present at the Natick, Massachusetts Guitar Center Satriani Extravaganza!! I just wanted to express my appreciation for Joe's visit to the Boston area. We won't get to hang and bang again until the fall!!! It was a good experience, overall, and I do look forward to this type of thing again! In his visit Joe 1.) played several songs and talked about some of the difficulties in coming up with certain sound techniques; 2.) He also initiated a question and answer session that was very interesting to listen to; 3.) A photo opportunity and autograph session that tried the most patient of souls!! ( there were many, many people present). All this was for no fee!! Pretty cool stuff from a complete pro...Good luck in Europe, fellas...

Thanks, Joe

What Can I Say But AWSOME!!!!!! I got excused from school at 11:30 (SWEET!) And then I drove up to the Guitar Center. At around 12:00, Being The 1st one there, I shopped around, played a couple guitars. Then at around 1 O'Clock, they booted us out and made us wait in line. But no worries for me, Cause I'm the first in line. So then I waited...and waited...and waited...and waited. At around 3:30, after they test the sound system (Which they did by blasting "Surfing With The Alien") I looked up through the window and there he was, doing soundcheck, just widdlin' about, It sounded awsome. 5:45, 15 minutes till show time, the manager calls if anyone is there for the Slash Les Pauls. No one says a thing. So they let us in. I get in there, Front row. Satch comes out. He says Hi to the 2000 people there. And Rocks everybodys brains out. His Set List was: Musterion Overdriver Diddle-Y-A-Doo-Dat Flying In A Blue Dream Always With Me, Always With You Satch Boogie Then a 45 Minute Q&A with the audience, in which he asked the younger fans "When you first heard the song 'Surfing With The Alien' did you immediadately go home and try to learn it?" I raised my hand. He says "That Man Diserves A Guitar Pick!" And throws me the very Pick he played the set with. After the Q&A, there were meet and greets. And I was the first one to get a Guitar Signed. SWEETNESS!!!!!!!!! Also got a Photo with him. It's my computers background now. WHAT A NIGHT!!!!!!!!!! If you don't want to spend the $500 on a platinum package and still want to see him live, This is the thing for you! ROCK ON JOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
