Great show. Saw Joe here last time in 2006 and was even more impressed due to a few golden oldies in the setlist (Time Machine, probably my favourite song, and Cryin'). This is my 6th Satriani gig and as always the Master was on fire.

My family bought me a Club Joe pass for this gig as a 23rd Birthday Present, and it was awesome.

Not only did myself and my brother sit right at the front, about 3 feet from Joe, but I was the first to get my stuff signed. I was so excited my hands were sweating, and in a broad Fife accent, I said to Joe as he reached out to shake my hand "Aye, sorry ma hands are totally sweating 'cause this is exciting and that..." as I furiously wiped my hands on my trousers... Oh god. But I did get a copy of my own first album signed, which is probably the greatest honour of all time. I was also glad to hear the outcome to Joe having his shades nicked at the Armadillo Concert in 2000. It had troubled me somewhat.

But I was really impressed. He took lots of time to answer questions and was a genuinely nice, funny and witty guy. Sitting that close to him was a surreal experience, it hasn't really sunk in yet. It hasn't sunk in that I actually chatted to him; told him he was racist for telling the Scots to speak slowly (that was a joke, by the way), asked him about writing music for the records, shook his hand, presented a copy of my own album to get signed and then had my picture taken. I suppose when we get the photos it'll all be a bit more real?

The show was incredible. I saw Paul Gilbert in Bath a few years ago, but his set was nowhere near as amazing as it was last night, full of energy and above all a great sound. "Scarified" was a highlight with the extraordinary musicianship and the power drills was as brilliant as it was hilarious.

Joe was on fire. I genuinely feel that Stu Hamm is the best man for the job as bassist. That's no offence to Dave LaRue or Matt Bissonette, but Stu Hamm has that powerful presence that is equal to Joe's - it's like Billy Sheehan is to Vai, and really brought the bass alive. His solo was awesome, and I appreciated his recovery from the trip-up!

I was sincerely glad to hear Time Machine live. It has been a favourite for a long time, and the sound did it justice. Plus it was cool to see a graphic backdrop too. I may be stupid for asking this, but where does one get a hold of "Ghosts"? I'm positive it isn't on Satchafunkilus...

That was the best Satch Concert I've been to, the whole day was great from start to finish. I managed to get Jeff's set list too, and met Mick Brigden on the stairs by the merch booth where I got his autograph. Unfortunately I lost my concert ticket, I've kept every single ticket from every concert I've been to, but I still have the memorabilia from the Club Joe to keep me happy.

I'm off to the London Guitar Show in June, so I'll get to witness this again. But nonetheless, haste ye back, Joe.

Joe just doesn't disappoint. Last night was the sixth time I've been lucky enough to witness his extraordinary guitar mastery live and he continues to make my jaw drop.

Paul Gilbert started the night in great form with tone and chops to make you either want to give up or practice a hell of a lot more. I'd hoped he might do a few more older classics like the version of "To Be With You" where he uses the riff to Van Halen's "Ain't Talkin' Bout Love" but "Scarified" and "Daddy, Brother, Lover , Little Boy" were excellent and "I cannot Tell a Lie" from his new album was beautiful.

What can you say about Joe? I thought his tone was a little muddy at first; much of Satch Boogie was obscured by cymbal crashes but they seemed to sort that out during the set. There was a wide variety of songs covering most of his career tonight, but nothing from "Crystal Plant"-"Strange Beautiful Music" which was a pity as "Time" makes a better opener than "I just Wanna Rock". Still reinstating "Time Machine", "Cryin'" and "One Big Rush" more than made up for anything missing from elsewhere. The new stuff all benefited from a more rocked up live approach...and as has been said before Stu Hamm IS Satch's bassist. The solo version of "Going to California" was unexpected yet typically jaw dropping.

Great night from start to finish..no t-shirts I really liked though!

Superb energy from the band and a fantastic mixture of new and old tracks covering Joe's entire career. I particularly enjoyed Cryin', Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing and Time Machine. Another highlight was the first half of Stu's bass solo where he played almost the entirety of 'Going To California' by Led Zeppelin. Very emotive and very wonderful!

Oh My God! Best night ever! Did the meet n' greet; got to spend an hour with Joe, chatting about playing live, what he does to chill out, his practice techniques, and.. his sunglasses! This is the 2nd meet n' greet I've done, and Joe is a true star! Very honest, humble, and a great guy, he has a lot of time for his fans. Whe you get your one-on-one time with him, it's ace! He showed me how to strengthen my pinkie to match his 6 fret stretch, showed me how to set up my JS1000 to be the same as his, and signed loads of stuff!

The gig was AWESOME- the guys were on fire. It's great to have Stu back.. just like the old days! The sit list was great as well, with a few old numbers coming out that haven't been played before. Joe looked as if he really enjoyed himself, and we got filmed on his podcast camera at the end of it- here's hoping my over enthusiastic mug ends up on the web!

To top the night off, we hung around the stage door after the show, and I met Stu Hamm (great guy- loads of time for his fans, and very obliging- thanks Stu!), then later met Joe again, and Jeff! Jeff signed a brush that I grabbed in Glasgow 13 years ago.. very cool guy, and he also is very obliging. Managed to grab a quick photo of Galen as well- didn't have time for a chat as they were all leaving.

So a HUGE thanks to all the guys- you're the best! Also a special thanks to Mick Bridgen for getting my brush signed and chatting to me- a great guy. Thanks to all for the best night ever! Dave
