Really enjoyed the show!!! Only been listening a couple of years but really enjoyed some of the older tracks. I brought a friend along who plays in a small bluegrass/country band and he also really enjoyed it as well. I want to thank you for the opportunity to meet you (won the aftershow passes) and for signing my ticket. I hope to see you again in the future in Pittsburgh. Thanks again for a GREAT EVENING of music!!

Waited waaaay too long for you to spend 3 hours with me, Joe, but my God was it worth it. Skip the G3 performances and bestow upon your fans only you! Awesome night...no interuptions, no warm-up band to suffer through, the door opened up and the WAIT was OVER. Fantastic adventure through your past and present music. Such a joy to see you play live and hear your music that sounds best that way. You looked like you had a blast performing, looked like you really enjoyed yourself and that was so good to see. Thank you, as always, for keeping Pittsburgh on your book to tour. I have seen you at least 6 times and this was the best. You have so much music to canvas, that when you come with other performers it just leaves me wanting more, but this really satified my craving to see you live. I love your new CD, and alot of your recent year's work, but my favorite is still " The Extremist." album and you definately are the pinnacle! Thanks again.

Wow! That sums it up if I were to describe the whole evening Joe. It was just amazing, Joe played flawlessly (like always, no surprise there, right?) and the setlist was fantastic, like the whole mixture of old ones, classic ones, never-before ones, and of course... the newer ones! Joe’s energy level must’ve been nearing the max because he was just nonstop all night emotion and playing... literally, he played a blistering 3-hour set!! But everyone in the band seemed well relaxed and smiles and stage antics were going on all night... Joe interacted with us althrough the setlist which really made us seem like apart of the band! It was a great, intimate evening with the crowd and Joe... what a musician and person he is. It was my first “Evening with...” though my 3rd time seeing the man and I just can’t get enough. It was cool seeing Galen before AND after the show just kinda chillin’ out and hangin around... he was outside before the show near the entrance and what seemed to be like he was trying to get cell phone reception, haha! He looked like he was trying to talk or get a signal so my friends and I just kept walkin’ by... and then after waiting in line just about 20 mins before they let us in... a car comes pulling up and Joe gets out!! It was pretty cool, he hand a few things in his hand and one big ass cardboard box thingy... I dunno... but all of us started yelling, “Hey Joe!” and he looked at us and kinda smiled but struggling at the same time with all the stuff he was carrying! lol. A pretty decent crowd turned out... I estimate around 300 or so, it was a medium-sized venue (the Rock Club) so it was near full... though a little disappointed in our reserved seating section... when Joe came out, I stood up but, like, everyone else remained seated... whats up with that? Only did I sit down after my girlfriend kept tugging at me, that, and I think the dude behind me didn’t appreciate my height, lol. Ah well, it was cool though, during the encores, everyone was completely out of their chairs, so all was good! Got some pretty decent pictures of the band (which should be posted on here soon.) Also, this made my evening and goal... I caught a pick from Joe! Well, actually I had to dive over two people, and throw a lady’s foot out from underneath it but hey... I got it! After the show, Galen comes back through the crowd and heading towards the front of the stage and my friend got to say hi to him and my girlfriend almost bumped her foot into him (she was on a barstool swinging her feet...) I was too occupied looking for picks for my friend that when I turned around he already started up near the stage and so I didn’t get the chance to ask him for a photograph with me... drats! Ah well, he seems to be always hangin around before and after a show, so perhaps next time! Sat 2nd row back and pretty much near the center... awesome seats, best seats so far I had when seeing Joe, he was literally like 8 feet in front of me, wow. The sound seemed really well mixed, everyone was well defined for the most part (of course Joe peeled through sweet)... the acoustics were great.. small, warm space = good sound!... the band was really on fire and from the other reviews, they continue to be so I definitely recommend you getting out to check out Joe when he comes around... it’s really an experience like none other! Well, next time Joe comes around, you can definitely count on me being there... Joe’s awesome and by that I mean the WHOLE band... to conclude... wow!

Third time seeing Joe. Not his best that I've seen live, but still mindblowing. I suppose when you're as good as he is that you expect perfection every time. It's easy to forget he's human, especially when he plays something that no human should be able too. Wasn't too pleased with the sound quality at this club, but don't blame Joe or the sound guy. It's just not a good place acoustically for this type of music. I was about 2 feet away from the guys as they came and went on the stage. Because you think of these guys as larger than life, it's funny to see how short they are! Overall, I had a great time and I can't wait until Joe comes back this way. I liked the setlist, but I heard some people griping about particular songs they wanted to hear and didn't. Jeez, they played for three hours! I didn't hear some songs I would have liked to hear, but I'm not about to complain. I still thought the show was great. Thanks guys!

Good show. Good setlist. But that's always what I expect. What I didn't expect though was Joe trying to sneak out after the show and elude the modest group of fans (10 or so) afterwards who didn't have the $200 to get the M&G pass. I just don't understand why money is the deciding factor in how the fans can meet thier heroes. Is the money really that important? I think Joe understands just how much it means to his fans, but didn't see this reflected in his actions. Maybe he was having a bad day or personal problems. Anyway, I was lucky enough to get my guitar autographed, with a bit of luck and my accomplice who was trying to get his signed as well. That was all that I really wanted, two seconds of his time.

Other that this little gripe, good show.

Outstanding show. By far one of my favorite live performances, ever. This was my first Satch concert, and I've been listening/playing his stuff for some time. Satch is a real inspiration for me, and this concert was nothing short of a euphoria. Bamboo was absolutely brilliant, Sleep Walk was beautiful, Surfing With The Alien in the encore was mind blowing, the build in Morrocan Sunset was astonishing, Hands In The Air made me want to make a fool of myself, all of his songs were nothing short of amazing, and If I had the cash, I would have bought one of the insanely expensive shirts, hell, probably even a girl's shirt, that was so good.

Anyhow, wordy run-on sentences aside, great show, keep rockin' and SEE SATCH!

Great show. Joe mixed in some great openings to many songs and unleashed new bars to many songs. The setlist stayed the same except Joe didn't play Satch Boogie during the encore. I've seen Joe about 15 times in the past two years or so and Joe seems energized by this tour. The unique setlist is great. Matt's bass is flawless and tight and was outstanding on Bamboo and Sleep Walk. Don't miss this tour. One of the best Satch tours that I've seen.

I could go on and on for hours about how great this show was! My dad and I have seen Joe twice now, and we're hooked on his live performances for sure!! The club atmosphere was great. Plus, we were pretty darn close....about 7th row or so. We loved that he mixed things up a bit. He played some of the older classic stuff and mixed in some songs from the new album. It was great overall. Not a complaint from us about the whole experience. We loved everything aobut it. Hearing some unusual songs like Hordes of Locusts and Strange was a nice bonus! Like I said, I could go on and on!

Long time listener, first time to actually see the magic in person. Outstanding! What an inspiration. I might just have to sell one of my Les Pauls and pick up a Satriani model Ibanez! The show here in Pittsburgh was fantastic. I took a friend who had never heard of Joe and she would constantly lean over and ask "How'd he do that?" Thanks Joe for a great night. Come back soon! -Kev O-
