This was a great show. I teach guitar and was able to bring a student with me to see Joe live for his first time. He was blown away and it reminded me of the first time I saw Joe for the "Flying in a Blue Dream" Tour. . . . . The mood that was created when the lights went down and I heard Joe's guitar for the first time sent shivers up my spine and suddenly I was in a different world. This show was no different. I still get that same feeling every time, but this time Joe played for almost 3 hours and he did "B" side tracks (as if he has any) and some really old stuff. "Hordes of Locusts" was incredible. And "I Like the Rain" off of the new CD really rocked and you could tell Joe was having fun playing and singing it.

The only reason that I didn't give this show a 10 was that it was way too loud. I may be getting old, but I still love loud music. This was a little over the top LOUD. The Keswick is a fairly small room and the sound system that Joe had could have played a stadium. Anyway, AWESOME SHOW!!!!

This was one of the best shows I have ever seen. This is my third time seeing Joe, and the first for An Evening with Joe. I enjoyed the G3 show, but I enjoyed this much more. Joe really looked like he was having a blast. I know the audience was blown away. Joe seems like he could play all night if they would let him. I loved the fact that he played a good mixture of old and new material. My wife was really hoping to hear Lifestyle, but I guess you can't play everything off the new disc. I just sent in about 30 pictures from the show. I hope Joe and all the fans enjoy.

Wow! What an amazing show. Only the 5th time I've seen Joe play & the 1st time seeing an "Evening with..." show. Gotta say this was easily the BEST I've seen so far. He really shook~up the setlist this time around. He played like he was on fire. Just killer! I didn't pay attention to the setlist but I got the following setlist from a marimariSRV post on "T2J". Looks pretty accurate to me. Up In the Sky / House Full of Bullets / Cool #9 / Gnaaah / Time / Lords of Karma / If I Could Fly / I Like The Rain / The Traveler / Hordes Of Locusts / Motorcycle Driver / SleepWalk / Starry Night / Moroccann Sunset / Bamboo / Strange / Searching / Hands in the Air / Psycho Monkey / Is There Love In Space / War / Flying in A Blue Dream / Encore: Always With ME Always With You / Satch Boogie / Surfing With The Alien.

Don't miss this tour!!! Can't wait for the next Satch show @ the Keswick Theater! I hope he plays here every tour (we're from the Syracuse, NY area & just LOVE seeing shows at this venue). Thanx for the Gr8 show Joe!!!

i've seen joe quite a few times but this was the best one yet...for a couple reasons....first of all, a very personal one, my best friend, and long time bass player, ALAN MCDONALD, passed away tragically earlier in the afternoon.....my heart was not into going to the show but i went anyway....and i'm glad i did....joe's playing was very passionate, beautiful, perhaps matching some of the feelings i had inside....the music took me away....i remember when joe came out for the encore i thought to myself "OK WHAT SONG DO I REALLY REALLY NEED TO HEAR? GOTTA HAVE 'ALWAYS WITH ME, ALWAYS WITH YOU'" and as soon as that thought crossed my mind, that's what joe started playing....i shed a tear and raised my arm in tribute to both joe and my fallen friend...and joe played the best version of that song i have ever heard...the ending jamout piece was like cosmically jamming with my friend....thanks joe......PS the opening act guy said something about the show being recorded and i don't know if he was talking about his set, or perhaps satch's set too....here's hoping the tape was running for joe.....R.I.P. AL

This is probably the 12th time Ive seen a JOE show and once again I,m amazed at what happens on that stage . Joes playing was unbelievable and it was especially nice to hear rarely played songs ,even though I always like his shows. It was good to see those guys stretching out with the extended jams. I know everybody on this site says this but I got to say it too. There is other guitarist out there with comperable musicianship but JOE is absolutely hands down the most entertaining, technical and musically gifted guitarist out there . If you have a chance to see one of these shows don't miss it ,theres not another JOE out there. Keep on Rockin JOE

This was probably my 10th time seeing Joe. He always seems to amaze me in a different way each time. This was really cool because I heard some live songs that I have not heard in the past. For example: Motorcycle Driver, Strange, Moroccon Sunset just to name a few. I thought the highlight of the evening was "If I could fly" and "Searching" both of the new Disc. Joe thanks for being my biggest musical Influenece ever. P.S. Philadelphia Loves You!

Joe is absolutely the man. Every song was phenominal, getting to see just Joe for the 1st time out of all the g3 tours I have attented (6 or 7) was worth every cent. There was a difference in what & how he played he didn't just play a few songs...... he rocked on from every cd I can think of. I had the Gold ticket package. I finally got to meet Joe & Jeff. They signed the back piece from my Strat. I am sure it will sound better now : / Got a photo of Joe with me & the wife. Thanks again for signing all our stuff. Now about the show, some of the songs off the self titled album were great, seeing HIM play them for the 1st time after all these years I have been struggling with them! (I don't read music so I figure out his stuff by ear) 'Not of this earth' was excellent I could go on & on. If you have the money get the gold or platinum seats. To sum it up...........DO NOT MISS THE "EVENING WITH JOE" TOUR. Rock on.

For such a small guy, Satch is a MONSTER! Of all the gigs I've seen Joe play at this was by far and away the best I have ever seen. He was so relaxed and just having a great time up there. It's so refreshing to watch an artist perform for the love of the art. The intro to Cool #9 blew me away and the outro to Always With Me, Always With You was simply the best I've heard. The set list was really well put together with a good mix of the oldies and stuff from his latest. If you haven't got tickets to see an upcoming show and you can get them...GO GET THEM!!! This concert is going to take some beating - Truly Thanks, Joe - you were great!

Simply blown away. Only reason I did not give it a 10 was because there were alot of good rock songs that he decided to leave out to play his newer stuff (mainly from is there Love in Space). However, I am sure he was tired of playing the same tracks - and alot of the songs I got a new appreciation that I didn't have before. So it was a mixed feeling - but in the end I so wanted to stay longer and just hear him play more even after the 3 hours. His set was 2 hours and 40 minutes (I was one of the platinum ticket holders so we were told ahead of time. Knowing it was going to be that long just made it so much more enjoyable). I am half tempted to go to the show in Baltimore tonight because how awesome the last show was. If anyone gets the set list please post it. He played a song before his 10 minute break and before starry night that I never heard before but I did hear it in the background on the Satch Tapes before the Summer Song video. VERY VERY VERY impressive show. Simply awesome.

Rediculous show!!!! Joe stayed away from most of his staple songs, allowing himself to explore some of his rarely played stuff. Joe played for 3 hours. I looked long and hard for a set list to this show. Now that I saw the show, I must tell you that it was worth not knowing. I can tell you that he plays Searching.....and it is rediculous. Special note to Joe.....I loved the jam between Always and Boogie. I have never seen you take that type of structured approach to improve. Great work. And way to throw in teasers for Rubina and Rasberry within it. Thanks, Jason @ www.baliban.com

Tonight, Joe was definitely 'On'. It was probably the best Joe concert I've ever seen. In fact, maybe even the best concert I've ever seen, period. His energy level was super high, his playing was spot on with beautiful iimprovs mixed into his songs. I didn't watch the clock to be exact, but, he played for almost 3 hours. I had the Gold pass and didn't get to meet him. I was seated in the left of the theatre about 7 rows back. Turns out, Joe likes to be on that side (stage right), so, it was better than dead center as he spent most of his time there. There really isn't a bad seat in the house at the Keswick - it's quite intimate.

For his encore, after a few minutes of hearing "Joe, Joe, Joe", he came back out and played more. Overall, he covered old stuff and new stuff (Psycho Monkey all the way to Gnahhh, which is amazing live).

There was a minor problem with one of Jeff's mikes (they said it was the high hat), but, they kept right on playing like the pros they all are and after a little while got it fixed.

He said he'd be back - I hope it's soon. Maybe another G3....Wonder who the 3rd guy will be this time....maybe Neil Schon? Saw him in the audience at the last G3....

Fantastic show. Joe and his music are a divine gift that I (and everyone else from what I could see) really enjoyed and appreciated.
