Okay... Here goes: First of all, of the eight times I have attended a JS/G3 show, Joe's never played as well as he did last night. He's always been incredible, but last night he completely outdid himself emotionally and technically. I've never seen him as fluid, effortless, "like water". It was a performance to behold, at least from my point of view. Obviously, I don't know how Joe feels about it, but... DAMN!!!! The band was fantastic, very tight.Jeff, Matt and Galen where definately kickin' ass and I could tell everyone was having a blast. I enjoyed the opening act as well, it was a new refreshing twist.

I just want to say thanks to you JOE for coming to Tucson. Please don't wait another eleven years to return, we love you...but, I guess you could feel the love last night....

Thanks again,

Kell

Excellent show! First time I ever saw Joe live. I had been waiting for 13 years and finally last week I got the chance to attend one of his concerts. I drove all the way from Hermosillo, Sonora, México and it was well worth the trip. Please Joe, come back to Tucson soon.

No words for that show. Cozy little place, good sound, good ambience, GREAT PERFORMANCE!!!!

The whole band was excelent. I had the oportunity of being 5 feet away from stage and you only had to see Joe´s face and expresions to catch the feeling. I already was familiar with the live versions of the material, (DVD and CD), but being there was like meeting an old friend: The smile on everyone´s faces...

Got to say my wife and I traveled 10 hours by car from Chihuahua, Mexico to see the show, and it worthed every penny and every km.

To those who are waiting for the Mexico City show: dont miss it!

I was lucky enough to get free tickets for the Satch concert in Tucson on 6th Feb. I couldn't afford to buy ticks cos am a poor college student ....but I think I'm very lucky to have won the tickets cos I had a BLAST at the concert!!! Joe Satriani and his band were just amaaaaazing ....simply superb!! It was an experience of a lifetime...I especially enjoyed Starry Nights, Oriental Melody to name a couple. I dont know if anyone noticed this: but a very neat part of the show was watching Joe's reflection on one of the walls of the hall. It was a terrific sight especially when he was playing the 2-headed guitar (i dunno the official name for it). JOE: YOU WEAVE MAGIC THROUGH YOUR FINGERS!!! Seriously...I'm a die hard fan of yours! Keep up the good work and I hope you're coming back to Tucson!!

WOOOOOOOOOWWW!! Another fantastic show!! Everything about it was the best. My wife & I won Aftershow Passes-We got free tickets from a guy who could'nt attend the concert-Standing FRONT ROW !! My wife caught a Drum Stck. Absolutly incredible!! On top of all that we meet some great people, one of them was Patricia, a gal from England who has seen Joe over 40 times. Meeting Joe was truly one of the HIGHLIGHTS in my life. We got pictures signed from a previous concert in Anaheim, as well as the Drum Stick. Joe even took the time to talk to one guys fiacee' on his cell phone. That was awesome!! Besides being the best Guitar player I've ever layed ears on, He's has got to be the most Humblest person I think I've ever met. Overall-the show was FANTASTIC. Sound was good-the band was in TIGHT form & the Set List was the best. Thanks Again!! Oh-Hope you liked your KILLER DANA BEANNIE JOE-

Mr Joe 'Satch' Satriani is one of the greatest guitarist ever. I live about 4 hours away from Tucson so the journey was one of great excitement. I've been lucky enough to see Joe a few times but this show was going to be different....I was going to meet him. I spent the afternoon at Guitar Center, walked downtown taking alot of pictures of the ol' Rialto. Got to take a few pictures of the band's equipment before the show. Joe's opening act was a really great surprise. For those of you who didn't make the show, his name is Ned Evett. He played a Fernandes fretless guitar with a glass fretboard. Very nice sound, and a great guy. It was nice to hear Jeff and Matt get to cut loose a little. Especially Jeff! You rock man! Very Solid group. Galen Henson, another wonderful person and musician, also very cool! Lot's of talent all around. Joe definately has a wonderful crew around him!! Now, Joe.... What can you possibly say about Joe that hasn't been said before, a million times over? I love his 'jammin' attitude on stage. He's a man that just anchors in and let's it rip! I was also lucky enough to be right up by the stage. How close? Got to study all his guitar licks from about 5 feet away. The ultimate guitar lesson. You could see the sweat on certain fret positions appear and then evaporate right then and there! haha A true master of the guitar, no question. Waiting paitiently after the show, I waited my turn to meet Mr. Satriani. He extended his hand, I shook it and said, "Joe, this moment for me, is what it would have been for you, if you could have met Hendrix." He was very sweet and said "Thank you very much". Getting to spend a few minutes talking with Joe was incredible. I congratulated him on the Governors Award , and hoping that finally he would win the Grammy. <He's becoming the Susan Lucci of the category, sorry Joe, I had to say it, haha> Joe was extremely gracious, he signed every cd cover, pass and misc item I had. Had a couple of pictures taken with Galen, Joe and myself. Now, a 10 show it definately was! Met and talked with alot of cool fans. Thank all you guys, Joe and crew, thanks the world over for your kindness and talents. Here's more or less a complete setlist of the show. Devil's Slide, Flying in a Blue Dream, Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing, The Crush of Love, Cool #9, Time Machine, Rasberry Jam Delta-V, Surfing with the Alien, Crushing Day, Satch Boogie, Midnight, Ice 9, Friends, Summer Song, Turkey Man, Oriental Melody, Starry Night, Mind Storm, Seven String, Chords of Life, New Last Jam, Hill Groove, The Journey. Now, there might be a couple of maybes in there, but I'm almost positive that's what was played at the Rialto. Joe also did a blues solo number, did part of Turkey Man, and what sounded like a touch of Rubina before Summer Song. Floored me with a solo extended performance of Midnight! Got to see that one in Albuquerque as well, but not the improvised parts, and certainly not as close as I did this night! Incredible Show!!! Joe, you are as great a person as you are a guitarist, the best. Thanks

Mr. Satriani was fantastic! It's easy to see why he is the world's greatest guitar player, he loves playing, and it showed. He changed guitars so many times, I lost count, however he played each one flawlessly.

The lead act was outstanding, and did a great job of warming up the crowd. He was a very talented and friendly guy, spending time talking to the fans after the concert.

If a person can only attend one concert this year, it must be Mr. Satriani's. You will never hear better guitar music, and you will never see anyone enjoy playing as much. The ultimate showman! His band was also outstanding, and the bass player was at the top of his playing as well. The lighting display was great with changing colors and an explosion of lights.

A spectacular show. As expected, Mr. Satriani's performance was equal his virtuoso studio productions, and the band was tight and together. This clearly lived up to my ( very high ) expectations.
