WOW!! Man, that was a great show! Joe has never let me down. Always been in top form and Tues. was no exception. Joe actually seemed to be in better form than the last time in Nashville. Maybe it was the night off before our show. Whatever it was, keep doing it! Joe just gets better every year. Thanks for Cool #9, that rocked so hard. And Dave LaRue was a very welcome addition this year, pulling triple duty!! Paul started it off with "Get out of my Yard" and just tore it up. This was the first time seeing him and I wish I had seen him along time ago, 'cause he was fantastic. Helluva singer too. Bouillet should have joined them on the G3 part. He's a major ass-kicker himself. Petrucci, Portnoy and LaRue...........Damn!! Very very tight Even though Portnoy couldn't catch a stick to save his life, ok maybe a couple, he still had a ball and beat the hell outta the skins. John was amazing, not as animated as Paul and Joe but made up for it in speed and articulation. John said it had been like 14 years since Dream Theater had been to Nashville. So PLEASE do something about that! The G3 part was great fun. You had drill playing, rubber chicken playing and they started with Hendrix and finished with Jumping Jack Flash. Everyone on stage looked like they were having a great time and that's one of the reasons I'll go see Joe and company as long as they'll play. Oh yeah, the show ran 3 hours and 50 minutes!! You will get your money's worth, DON'T MISS IT!!!

Wow! This was truly a triple guitar threat at its best. I sat in the 2nd row. I have been a Paul Gilbert fan for years but never had an opportunity to see him till now. It was great to see Bruce Bouillet by his side on guitar. John Petrucci was a smoker as expected. Loved his opening song on the 7 string guitar. What a surprise to see his drummer Mike Portnoy on stage. Dude can kill those skins! Then last but not least was the "Man" himself Mr. Satriani. I was happy to hear some choice cuts from the "Surfing with the Alien" album. Yes, It was so long ago I bought it on vinyl and it was autographed by Joe many moons ago. Now if I could just get some airfare and tickets to the next G3 show.......

This was my first time seeing joe play live and I thought it was awsome. Joe was about 10 to 15 feet away from me and my wife during his set alot of the time. Seeing him perform live was everything i hoped it would be. I was able to walk up to the front of the stage for a couple of minutes before Joe came out and watch Mike hook up Joe's pedal board which was pretty cool. Gilbert and petrucci were both good as well. Joe is a legend don't miss it.

Incredibly awesome show. This was my fourth time seeing Satch. The generations were eclipsed on this show, as I took my daughter to her first rock/guitar concert. In the late 80's and early 90's, my dad took me to see Joe play twice. I also went with my wife and my step-son and his friend. Every one of us loved the experience. The teenage boys stated it was the best night of their lives. All of the musicians in all three bands are outstanding. John Petrucci had perfect tone and volume, as did LaRue and Portnoy. Every note was clear and sweet. I will be purchasing his first solo album based on what I heard. Paul Gilbert was amazing and very entertaining with his playing and style. He is my step-son's guitar hero. I would have liked his guitar to have more volume during the g3 jam, as his soloing was not as clear and discernable as the other two gents. Nonetheless, his technical prowess was obvious. Joe Satriani had very good tone and volume throughout. He was great as usual. Joe, G3 is the pinnacle of guitar shows - keep it going as long as you can, and thanks. The g3 jam was very fun and entertaining. Kudos to all of the great musicians who put on the show. Can't wait to see it again and bring the family too.
