I have been going to see Joe since 1991 and this was the best show ever. what an incredible set. I loved the new intro to "Up in Flames". Thanks to my friend BIGGROOVYMIKE I got to talk to Joe after the show. He told me that he is thinking about jumping up on stage with Neal Schon when he plays with Soul Sirkus at Harrah's Lake Tahoe on 4/28. I have to be out of town thanks to my boss. but if you are reading this you should go. My only bright spot is that I will be in Las Vegas and I am going to see Steve Vai at the House of Blues on that same night.

I don't have words to describe it... I've seen Joe five times now, and all I can say is he's like a bottle of fine wine, (just keeps getting better). This show was by far the best I've seen yet. Fantastic version of "Summer Song" and how about the "Sleep Walk"... Steel guitars everywhere BOW with envy! The only thing that would have made this show any better, would be a DVD!!! Don't get rid of that alien mask just yet, WE ALL need more video. Can't wait for the next show. PLEASE GIVE RENO A DVD SHOW. Thanks for the chat and the always down to earth personality after the show. Gents, get some rest before the next tour starts,You all deserve it! Best wishes to you and the guys always. And as you ended the show, so will I....FRIENDS.

My girlfriend and I drove from Yuba City, CA to see Joe at the Hilton in Reno and all I have to say is that Joe is the most amazing person to see in concert. It doesn't ever matter if you don't like rock or guitars, when you see him in concert, you realize just how talented he is and get caught up in the moment. This was the second time I saw Joe in concert and it was 100 times better. If you can only see one concert for the rest of your life, then spend the money wisely and go see Joe live. Joe came out and lit the crowd up immediately, and no more than 2 songs into the show, Satch Boogie came boomin at the crowd and sounded better than ever. Joe played all the good ones, Always With Me Always With You, Flying In A Blue Dream, Strange, Bamboo, Lords Of Karma, Moroccan Sunset. He also played an incredible version of Searching, not to mention an even cooler version of Up In Flames. Joe also busted out Sleep Walk from La Bamba which was incredible. And it wouldn't be a show without Surfing With The Alien, wearing the alien mask and all. And ending it with Friends, a nice touch. Words don't express how awesome this concert was. Go see Joe as many times as you can, just so you can see how even after playing for 20+ years he still gets better and better with each show. Keep on rockin Joe and Band, you guys made an unforgettable night for my girlfriend and I. We will cherish that night together with you for the rest of our lives. If anyone could do me a huge favor, I would appreciate it if someone could email me the setlist from this show, I didn't know the name of all the songs but hopefully someone out there will. My email address is kg_530@hotmail.com, it would be greatly appreciated.

This one gets a 20!! Out of the 6 shows of this tour we've seen, including the webcast in Anaheim, and the even better show in Ventura the next night, the Reno show was the absolute best of them all! The lighting was fabulous and added a lot to the ambience...and when the guys were playing Starry Night and the huge backdrop turned into one gigantic starry night sky, absolute CHILLS!!! But even without the special effects, this show topped all others we've seen. It was the last one in the states this year, the guys were pretty tired, and they just totally gave it up, didn't hold a thing back. Again, Searching was incredible, different from Ventura and so, soooooooo good....all the improvs and extended jams were better than any other. I sat next to a man and his wife who were seeing Satch for the first time, he'd been a fan for 20 years...I got such a kick out of looking at him throughout the show....he was completely mesmerized, had the jaw drop-totally awed look on his face, barely moved much less breathed!! At the break he was hollering at me in excitement about "why didn't I tell him what to expect, he can't believe it!!" and he really had no words to describe what he was feeling...but his face said it all! I really wish this show had been recorded, it was absolutely killer...totally rockin' and totally beautiful all at the same time! And thank-you again for the aftershow passes, there were a lot of folks waiting to meet Joe this night, and as tired as he was, he gave each person their moment with him, a beautiful smile, autographs and pictures. I know it will be next year before we can see you all again out there, and we are looking forward to that day, but meanwhile guys, you are the BEST and deserve this time with your families. Lots of love, good wishes and prayers, Tracie and Chris

I too flew in with my friend from Ogden, Utah. (BTW Joe......PLEASE COME TO UTAH - the Abravenel Hall in SLC is your type of setting). This show was so amazing (and I have been to other Joe concerts) that I literally felt like it was either a historical experience or a religious experience. Joe, the alien mask at the end was the greatest. It's so cool to see someone of your talent not take himself too serious. If only this show would have been recorded.....the musical moments were without doubt a the most incredible I have seen in my 41 years here on Earth. I also can't say enough for the rest of your band. They are all excellent muscians and it couldn't have happened without them as well.

All others must bow down before Joe Satriani. He is the Master of six strings and alien masks. We flew in from Ogden, Utah for the show at the Hilton. The experience was nothing less than spirtual. When Joe broke into Flying in a Blue Dream, towards the end of the show, it nearly brought me to tears. I have never been so awe struck by such a talent. When he came out for the encore in the alien face, I wasn't surprised. I've never really thought he could be of this world. The energy from Joe was incredible. He skipped!! He's 49 years old, and he's skipping across the stage like a teenager after 3 hours of rockin it hard. My hat's off to the Reno Hilton for providing such an acoustically premier venue to showcase Joe. You need to rename the theatre "Joe's House". Keep him coming back and we'll keep comin to Reno.
