I've been lucky enough to see Joe in Denver, Las Vegas and now Los Angeles. He is definitely on top of his game at all times. I also thought there was something up with the mix at the beginning of the show. But, that is probably the worst thing I can say about the show. Joe was awesome! Venue was really cool as well. I wish we had cool stuff like that in Wyoming! Hey, one more thing...did anyone write down the set list? If so, could you email it to me? myramanes@msn.com.

I took my 17-year-old daughter to the Orpheum Theater to experience her first Joe Satriani concert. We got to the theater plenty early (gotta love exploring those old venues), found our seats (decent, but not great), enjoyed the opening band and waited for Joe. When he and the band hit the stage, we were ready to be blown away and we were!

The set list was really comprehensive and covered his entire bodgy of work. Sure I missed "Cool #9" but when you have that much stellar material, something's always gonna be left out. Joe started around 8:20, and didn't let up for almost 2 hours. I mean it just didn't stop. We were exhausted by the time it was over. I don't know how Joe keeps it up. The sound was quite good, even under the balcony, and built nicely till the end when it was really pumping.

My daughter was completely blown away and was trying to figure out how to describe the experience to her friends. We can't wait until next time ...

good show. i like the venue but i have been there twice now and i think the sound could be better. maybe its my ears but i have been to several Joe shows now and the by far the sound was the best at the 2006 show in Anaheim. later on in the set it seemed to get better. the set list was fine. the problem is that Joe has around 200 songs and as time goes on, the list of must play songs gets longer and longer. there is just no way for him to play all the songs people want to hear. i liked the selections from the first album. i would have loved to hear something from ITLIS. i sat in the orchestra this time, fourth row near the center, great seat. i really don't know how Joe does it. after all this time, the energy he puts into a performance, it is just amazing. i am curious to hear thoughts from some other fans.

Great show. Set list could have been a lot better. Venue seating was cramped as well.
