Great show, sound was great. Had great seats. The only bad thing about this evening was that it was a school night and I had my son with me, so I had to leave early. Luckily, my older brother was able to stick around and got me a pick Joe threw from the stage. Talk about a wonderful birthday present. Joe never fails to impress me with his live shows.

I have seen hundreds of concerts and thousands of bands, by far this was the best. I truly felt honored to be the the presents of Greatness. I mean they Rocked!! Perfection!!! Amazed!!! They were recording the DVD, it was cool. Joe and the hole band were at top performance levels, like a well oiled machine. I've played music since 3rd grade band and I know what it takes to be that perfect. You could tell they worked real hard and had it and played it with complete perfection. They made it look easy, Joe plays that guitar like a hot knive through butter. Thank you very much for putting a smile on my face that night with your Kicken Rock and Roll!! Impressive beyond belief. Ps. I got to meet Joe and the hole band afterwards at Meet and Greet, thanks for the picture joe, your guys are so real cool or should I say ice-yyy!!!. I've seen many shows like the first post (LDI). Going into the encore I realized there are SO many more songs I would love to hear. Joe's last 4 albums were not represented. But it would take 5 hours to here everything! This show was a full 2 hours and that was great. I think the new album is OK - a little too laid back on the CD. But hearing it live was much better. The new songs had more grit, more edge to them versus the CD. I really liked them live. Lots of folks like the "classics" from his first 2 albums. I like it all. I would have loved to hear songs that LDI listed. But still, everytime I hear Joe live, I'm really speachless. We always want more - don't we? The songs he creates and his playing ability is off the chart. Joe suffered from "I don't want to end this song itis" a few times too many. But I think he was just really enjoying himself that night and that was his way of showing it. Looking forward to watching the HD Net broadcast in the future. Eric Johnson was good. I haven't seen him in a while. His guitar was hard to hear at times and his fingers seemed to get fumbled up sometimes. Someone was saying Eric is 52. The guy looks like a teenager still. Eric has tallent as well. Overall, this was a great show. Thanks.

Great show! The sound was incredible. Eric Johnson was awesome. Would like to have heard "Manhattan" but I understand there's a time constraint since he's the opening act.

As for Joe, amazing performance! I've been to alot of his shows including the G3 performances. The only thing I wish is that he would have played a few songs from Crystal Planet, Engines, Strange Beautiful Music, and Is there Love in Space?. I know he has to play the fan favorites but for me I'm not a fan of the extended solos. In place he could have fit in "If I Could Fly", "Starry Night" or "Belly Dancer", "Crystal Planet" or "Raspberry Jam Delta V", "Until We Say Goodbye" or "Borg Sex". To me hearing those would have made me give a 10 but because of this only a 7. IMHO, the set list needs to be reworked. I've seen all the other songs performed before and would have liked a little more variety. Don't get me wrong, the new songs were incredible and I enjoyed the show. But it could have been better.

I just got home from the show. What a treat it was. This was my first full concert with Joe and his band, although my daughter and I attended the west LA show. These guys were on fire tonight. I don't know how they do that show after show but they play it like it's their only gig.

Eric Johnson opened up and played for about an hour. I was impressed, he seemed to have a great time up there. After a short break, Joe came out and did over two hours of just shredding. The band really plays well together, with Dave Larue on bass now. The lighting was pretty good, and they made a dvd out of that show. It will be out in about 5 months. After the show, several of us met Joe and got some pictures and autographs. He really is a gentleman, taking the time to talk with each one of us. I look forward to seeing Joe again next time he is in town.

Absolutely rockin' show! Joe was on fire from opening lick and never slowed down. The jams were awesome and the audience was really into it (for an Orange County crowd anyway, not to bag on my fellows but they, and I too, can be a little staid). For those who will see a later show you are in for a treat. If you haven't got your tickets yet get off your butts and get them now. I'm going to check on the rest of the CA shows to see where I can catch this again...
