I can't really begin to describe this show... Being my first time seing either Satch or EJ live, it was ABSOUTELY INCREDIBLE. I managed to scoot up to the very front, slightly to the right of the center. It was awesome.

Eric Johnson is absolutely astounding. His sound is truly unique, and his skills are abslolutely mindblowing. I can't say enough about how awesome he was.

And Satch. Wow. Incredibly EPIC. Not only a great guitarist, but an awesome guy as well. And Crowd Chant was simply awesome. I'm not going to go into detail about every song, but safe to say there's no way I'm not getting premium tickets next time.

Oh, and the guy earlier mentioned me - I'm the one who traded the setlist for Satch's pick. The crowd was awesome, and friendly (excepting an old guy who was a prick to my friend), and I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

For those of you who got to meet Satch/EJ/LaRue/Campitelli (etc....) I'm jealous... You're so lucky. YOu'll just have to have had an awesome enough experience for the both of us. :D

BLOW MY FUCKING NUTS OFF! Show was way better than the one in Greensburg, PA. I don’t know how it could get any better but they did it. Everyone was amazing. Does Joe and friends ever get a bad review?! I wonder if they even read this stuff. One of the greatest nights of my life was at this show. Going through a really horrible time in my life right now, but this show managed to keep me from committing suicide. I met Dave Larue again who is my buddy. Seen him drinking some sort of whiskey I believe it was Jack Daniels. I Talked to Dave for awhile with my cool friend Kim. Had Joe and the entire band looking at me in the crowd smiling and carrying on the whole time. I worked my way up to the front row and was acting crazy like Satan. Had a little run in with a dick head security guard and some Chinese guy but it was all good? The Chinese guy after the show apologized. Sorry for your luck Chinese guy.

I Got pictures with Joe and Dave Larue. As well as two autographs from Joe one on my arm which is gone now because I didn’t get it tattooed in time like I said I would for other reasons I wont mention, and the other one on my ticket. Joe is very awesome and humble guy, I really like his style as a person. To kick that much ass and then to come out like all shy and no big deal, it takes a really cool person to do that. Joe is the greatest guitarist of all times. Show made me weak in the knees. My friend gave her sunglasses to Joe who wore them over his head. Talked to Joe for a little bit after the concert as well. Saw Eric Johnson’s bassist who was wasted after the show as well. I enjoyed yelling random things to make Eric laugh during the silent parts of his show. Eric is one of the best guitarists as well he was flawless again! No one could say anything bad about these shows. I love you guys cant wait to see you again and meet you after the show.

What can I say that hasn't been already said? It was a great show. My wife and I had reservation for dinner at the attached restaurant. As a result, they let us in 10 minutes before the doors opened. We inquired about the VIP seating at the restaurant. It was availible, so we purchased that seating for an extra $10 per(money well spent). It was there, in the VIP room, we met 2 cool guys (at least one of them posts here). Which brings me to this conclusion... The people that attend Satch concerts are always cool.

As a matter of fact, One of the 2 guys we met got my guitar plate signed for me by the "man", Joe Satriani (they had the platinum package). How cool is that?

The expierance was nothing short of incredible. I will definately purchase the platinum package next time Joe comes around.

I'm enjoying the "Super Colossal" cd even more, after seeing the concert.

One last thing...I'd like to send a "shout out" to Kenny T and his friend. Thanks for making a great experiance even better.

This is the guy who stole the "set list". well - I didn't really steal it. It was givin to me by the crew. i also got eric johnson's too. The show was AMAZING!!. but of course i didn't expect anything less. Joe and company really delivered BIG TIME on this one. If you haven't bought a ticket for upcoming shows i suggest you do not waste any time. You have to see this legend perform live. I got to meet all the band members from both bands outside the tour bus after the show. Joe is a very nice and generous person. He signed my guitar and the "set list" and thanked all of us for coming to the show.Eric was a very quiet soft spoken humble guy who did not turn away from one fan. He too signed my guitar. I feel very lucky to have had that oppurtunity. please - do yourselves a favor and go see this show - it is HUGE!!!!! no wait a minute , it's "SUPER COLOSSAL" -you will not be disappointed. - peace!

Hey Everyone!!! First of all, I am still reeling from an amazing evening at the Ram's Head Live last night where my son and I had the fantastic fortune of shaking Eric Johnson's hand since we were center and right in front of the stage the whole show,(he leaned over and shook about 10 hands including both of ours!) and since we had the platinum package, my son and I also got to meet Joe! What a great time! I have read a few reviews that Eric's sets had sound problems in the past, not in Baltimore! This 3 piece band kicked some serious musical @ss! They were fantastic! Eric has such a smooth sound and his bassist and drummer were excellent! Joe and the boys were totally unbelievable! They were extremely tight and just grinning and jammin'. I still can hardly believe how much fun it was. Dave LaRue is definately a force of nature!! I think he makes an awsome compliment to Joe's team. The meet and greet was two parts, 21 folks in Baltimore signed up for the platinum package and I think 19 showed up. Our host Mr Iverson was really cool, we went into the venue before the masses to get our pictures taken with the Super Colossal Ibenez with Joe's Super Colossal face on it. (By the way, it was really fun and there was a lot of comradere among the fellow Satch fans! It was cool to meet all of you from all over the US!!)Then we all grabbed prime front stage spots before the doors opened. After the show, we all gathered stage left and after a fairly short wait, we were all in a big hallway where Mr Iverson asked us to wait and a few minutes later Joe walked in! I started applauding and Joe smiled and walked right up to me and shook my hand! Then Mr Iverson asked who wanted to go first, so I spoke right up and my son James and I went up to a small table with Joe and greeted him again and got our autographs. I asked him to sign the front cover of my Super Colossal CD and James asked him to sign 3G Live (the one with Eric Johnson) We then got pictures with him and we said good bye. Folks, Joe is a genuine, friendly, nice guy. He was so friendly and warm, he just made the experience so worth it! Besides putting on such a monster show, he was just nice as he could be. Anyway, if any of you are hedging on the idea of a platinum package, go for it! You won't be disappointed. The setlist that another reviewer mentioned was grabbed by the dude I stood next too, Scott from Essex. Glad to make some new friends and Scott is one of them! He was hilarous asking stage hands for set lists and picks. He was relentless and finally traded a pick for the setlist! Too funny! OK everyone, I hope everyone is doing well! ^5 Jim

Wow! What can I say that hasn't already been said. This was my sixth time seeing Joe and as always it is phenomenal. I signed up for the platinum package this time and it was soooo worth it. Had the best spot in the house, center stage front row. This was the closest I have ever been and being that close to Eric and Joe and really watching their technique was amazing. You don't appreciate what they do as much until you are right there. Unbelievable. Afterwards, going back stage and meeting "the man" himself was great! He is genuine and down to earth. Thank you Joe! Also special thanks to John for taking the time to go to the tour bus and take photos of the Super Colossal Guitar after the show. All the best with the rest of the tour.

THIS WAS MY SECOND TIME SEEING JOE PERFORM. THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE WAY THIS MAN PLAYS A GUITAR. MY FREIND AND I PURCHASED THE PLATINUM PACKAGE. WE WERE CENTER STAGE. LOOKING AT HIS HIS FOOT WORK THE PEDALS. HE STOOD OVER ME PLAYING. I WAS JUST AT AWE THE ENTIRE NIGHT. EVERY NOW AND THEN I WOULD TURN AROUND AND LOOK BACK AT THE CROWD. THEY ALL LOOKED MESMERRIZED.

ANYONE ATTENDING THAT SHOW OR ANY OF HIS SHOWS MUST KNOW THEY ARE LISTENING TO THE GREATEST GUITAR PLAYER IN THE WORLD TODAY.

HIS MUSIC IS AS MUCH A PART OF MY LIFE AS MY FAMILY. I AM 52. MY GRANDSON IS 13 AND DISCOVERING IN HIS OWN WAY JUST HOW GREAT JOE SATRIANI CAN PLAY. HE ASKED ME HOW LONG HAS HE BEEN PRACTICING TO PLAY LIKE THAT. MY RESPOSE WAS HE WAS BLESSED WITH THAT TALENT. HE LIVES TO PLAY. AND WE ARE SO FORTUNATE TO BE ALIVE IN HIS ERA TO EXPERIENCE HIS TALENT.

AFTER THE SHOW WE WERE LEAD INTO A HALLWAY WHERE HE APPEARED AND GREETED US. I WAS MOVED BY THE WAY HE TOOK A YOUNG MAN'S GUITAR AND BEGAN SHOWING HIM A LICK OR TWO. HE WAS SO DOWN TO EARTH. NOT IN ANY HURRY AT ALL WITH ALL OF US. I HOPE I DID NOT EMBARRASE HIM WHEN I SAID, " FORGET THE HAND SHAKE GIVE ME HUG". THEN I REALLY DID SOMETHING HE PROBABLY NEVER HAD HAPPEN BEFORE. I SHOULD BE CRAZY FOR SHARING THIS BUT............ I SAID "THANK YOU" AND KISSED HIS HAND...... YES I DID AND PROUD OF IT. .......MY WIFE SAID HOW COULD YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH WELL.............YOU HAD TO HAVE BEEN THERE...... JOE LAUGHED AND SAID "THANKS". IN CASE YOU DID NOT KNOW HE HAS "YORKIE". GUESS WHAT?????? SO DO I............

I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE THERE WITH US. I HAD ONE OF THE TOP FIVE GREATEST TIMES OF MY LIFE.................YA'LL TAKE CARE.........SLIM (RICHMOND, VA)

This was my first Satch show, and all I can say is WOW. The opening act Eric Johnson played a killer set and sounded great. Then Satch came out and I was blown away. I was right up at the stage all night and still can't believe how good he is. The set list was great, A really good selection of songs from his catalog. It was well worth every penny and more, not to mention the 3 hour drive. I would've drove further than that and now I know I would or will. Thanks for a rockin' evening.

Had a great time, but was left wanting more... not from Joe. Just in general. I enjoyed last year's show at the Hippodrome so much, but I just couldn't get the same high from this show. It was like Kali Mist vs. BCs. The general admission aspect was a little challenging; my breasts were rubbing against random guys' backs all night, because we were packed in so tightly, and my legs began hurting midway through the show. I didn't get a pick... almost had a set list, but the roadie ripped it, and then the guy next to me grabbed it in the air, while it was being given to me. Talk about pathetic.

Also--- c'mon already with the set list. There were several later albums not even represented. SBM? ITLIS? Basically, we got to hear Surfing with the Alien and Super Colossal. I am a big fan of all the music, and I wanted to hear it all.

I looked forward to this concert for more than a month and a half. I played Joe's records so much over the past month that everyone in my building is now familiar with the entire catalog.

The boys definitely rocked out, but I was a little dissapointed. Don't be too heartbroken if you missed this show.

This was my 4th time seeing Satch. What a great show and what an awesome venue! Both Satch and EJ did a fantastic job. I was surprised at how much shredding Satch did. The last 3 albums have had little shred, and his last concert I saw during the ITLIS tour had more of a jam feeling to the set. But man, did Satch tear it up last night!

I barely caught Jeff's drum stick at the end of the show but didn't keep it :( Two guys tried to rip it out of my hand. The kid let go, but the older gentlemen did not. He offered to flip a coin for it, but I just told him he could have it. I figured he wanted it more than I did, but now I regret giving it up. No big deal...Best Satch concert yet!

I am now suffering from Post Satch Depression Sydrome!

The Baltimore gig was a general admission show, a smaller venue than the last time I saw him 10 days in Greensburg, but better set up for a rock show.

I was directly in front of Joe's pedalboard the whole night. Had he played in my living room, I still wouldn't have had a better view.....it was almost like a private show. Eric seemed a lot more into the groove, and Scorched is right......Eric's bass player Chris was just a wee bit toasted when walking out to the bus. ;-)

I told Dave and Jeff afterwards that they played a great show. They both replied "We're working on it". Bah....... that's TOO humble;.you guys already have it down! And the infamous rubber chicken did make an appearance during Crowd Chant. We were treated to some very nice extended jams at the end of several songs. Whatever you do, DON'T miss the guys this time around. They're firing on all cylinders.

And it was nice seeing Mari again, and Chris (Dr Mindcrime) and tkdguy and son.

What an incredible experience! Eric and Satch were amazing! This was my first time seeing Eric Johnson and he, and his band, are truly awesome!

This was a friends first Satriani concert... and he is still in awe.

We purchased the Platinum Package over a month before the show and it was worth every penny!! Along with the others, who had done the same, we had our pictures taken with one of the ten Super Colassal guitars while Eric Johnson was doing his soundcheck!!

Anyone who brought a guitar for Satch to sign... the security at Ram's Head Live was very helpful in protecting them during the show.

Back to the concert...

The sound... the ambiance... the crowd... AWESOME!! We watched the whole event from the VIP window above the stage. Made some new friends, too.

After the show we were shown to a quiet foyer, behind the stage, with the rest waiting for Satch and talking with Mr. Iverson. When Satch came into the foyer I felt a rush of adrenaline. All the other times I had seen him perform I had either missed out on the autographs or I was more intent on getting pictures for my friends while they met him... Not this time... This time was for me! My friend, Mark, and I waited patiently while the majority of the others had their turn with him. It was both funny and exciting to see the admiration and expressions of these fans... young and old! Then it was our turn as I followed Mark up to the table Satch was using to autograph things. Satch, smiling and talking with Mark, autographed his acoustic guitar "PLAY WHAT YOU FEEL", made a Super Colassal figure drawing of himself and signed his name... Like I said, Mark is still in awe. He's almost afraid to play the guitar now... at least until this morning. I, too, was graced with the attention of Satch. We shook hands and I did my best to not sound like a babbling idiot as I complimented him on his performance and his music. BTW, everyone was photographed with Satch during this time as each fan displayed their autographed items. Truly awesome!

Thank you Satch. Thank you Eric. Thanks to their band members. Thanks to the people behind the scenes, as well as Mr. Iverson.

I have seen Joe live about 12 times dating back to Hammer Jacks in 1988. Still have the ticket.. a whooping 5 dollar addmission! Every show Ive seen has been killer and last night was no exception. I would have to say the best show yet and that is the great thing about Joe just when you think you have seen him at him best he blows you away. That is what keeps us coming back. I stood stage left right in front of the man, nothing like it watching him do his thing up close so EFFORTLESS! The sound was amazing however beeing so close Im paying for it today. My ears are ringing! Oh yea someone puked in the middle of the crowd around center stage. That cleared an area! After a few songs I moved to stage center behind the control bard, great view and the sound was even better.

Joe can't thank you enough for such a great show and the talent you are. Your excitement on stage and interaction with the crowd make us part of the show. Crowd Chant was amazing!

CANT WAIT TILL THE NEXT TOUR! See ya in Bmore

Rob.

If you are an Eric Johnson or Joe Satriani fan and you miss the chance to see one of the shows, you are missing the chance to see one of the best shows of the year.

Eric put on one heck of a "warm up" performance, and showed the crowd some serious guitar work. Eric's haunting lead solo's were beyond words!! If you like to see an artist work....and you miss the chance to see him on this tour..you are missing out for sure!!

Joe......well he is Joe!! The sound was amazing. He put on a show that people will "talk about" until the next time he tours!! One of the most amazing guitar players of our time, he raised the bar another notch for others to reach for!! He was so good......there is nothing more that needs to be said!! If you miss his tour stop in your town, you are missing the chance to see one of the greatest guitar players of our time. Way to go Joe!!
