I saw Joe at the Nokia Theatre he was great and so was everyone else in the band. When he played The Meaning Of Love it was really beautiful, and when he added the red lights to the song it was real romantic.Joe keep playing and rocking great music and more love songs too. Ursula

..You really can't say enough about this show/tour .. The Super Col. material is SO good live, it's clearly some 'new' classics. Eric Johnson had a terrific opening set, just like Eric, very diverse in his material and everybody got something there; Country picking, 'SRV' and A Hendrix cover just done so well.

Joe and band ~smoked~. It's a fabulous set of old and new with an energy that was amazing. Red/Rider was awesome live, and when a Robot dreams - look out,..This was a awesome trip via Joe's exploration of the guitar's voice for that robot, oh boy. The older tunes in full swing, .. Opening FIABD? What a terrific 'setting' of what is to follow. Loved the last CD, .. the new one is just tight, crisp and fresh like Crystal Planet was to my ears anyway. Jeff is amazing as always, Galen right in the mix, and a fabulous job on 'Definition/Love' ..Love the studio tune and Galen just fills that up the way it should be. Dave LaRue on bass is a monster - what energy. And one pick :-) Don't miss THIS tour..Just don't. Thanks Mick, .. Galen, Jeff, Joe and Dave. The shot of rock is complete - till next time. JR.

Absolutely amazing!!!!!!!! This has to be one of the best concerts I have ever seen. I have seen Joe several times in the past, but his playing and the sound was just flawless. The new album is great and he did many songs from it. Was hoping to hear 'Theme for a strange world' , but he just played other great stuff. The rest of the band sounded amazing as well.

Will be watching him in Sayreville, NJ next week and I am sure that will be just as superb.

Eric Johnson was very good as well, and did an hour I think. He did not sound as good as Joe, though.

NYC. Just an amazing show. I think Joe played nine songs from SC. Just shows the strength of the album. I really do think its a cut above his other recent work and Grammy time - I hope.

The one gelling factor last night was not the great songs but the enjoyment each band member clearly got from playing. It amazes me that people can go on doing that. Jeff was so into it, smiling all the time, really enjoying the groove. I was sorry I didn't get to meet him again.

Outstanding show last night at Nokia. I have never heard better sound, you could hear every note from Joe and Jeff perfectly. Dave LaRue was phenomenal and is in the same class of bassists as Stu & Matt.

Set list was great and filled with new stuff (One Robot's Dream was THEE best new tune).

What the band did with "Always with me..." was amazing and Joe threw in a lil' Raspberry Jam solo at the end... it was really cool.

Jeff rocked, Galen is an awesome side man and again, Dave is exceptional. Joe is at the top of his game and hoepfully will get more recognition with this album and tour...best album and show in years!

The traffic getting into New York was horrendous, but the show was so amazing, I don't think there's a word in the English language that could describe it. I got to the theater around 6:00 with my father, and kinda chilled. The venue itself was really cool too. Eric Johnson played an awesome set. The stuff off of "Bloom" was cool, and his rendition of "Cliffs of Dover" was phenomenal (sounded better live than on CD.) Joe came on with "Flying in a Blue Dream' which was really cool. The songs off the new album (Super Colossal, One Robot's Dream, and Crowd Chant spefically) were incredible, and the concert was just great overall. As always, Joe and the band were tight, and Joe's playing was flawless. Getting to see Eric Jonhson and Joe perform was like seeing two completely different concerts. It was really cool. Joe, once again, you put on a kick - @$$ show, and I hope to see you again soon. YOU'RE THE BEST !!! (If you're wondering , I was the guy on the upper GA floor jumping up and down and pumping my fist into the air the entire time. I was very energized.)
