Well, what can I say..... Joe!! What a performance, absolutely amazing. We left the show on such a high, just because we were in the same room with a Master. We were talking last night and can't believe it has already been nearly a week since we seen Satch, feels like it was last night, we're both still reeling from the absolute magnificence of the sweet sounds that you made with your guitar. The crowd was going off like a fireworks show. Amazing show, hope to see you in the near future.

Joe Satriani now that was a treat and a half to see you actually playing up there on a stage in Perth. You make it look so easy. It was so hot and steamy in that place but you made it even more so. Being a female guitarist find inspiration a little scarce in Perth with only a few favorites but that was a long awaited treat so inspiring actually seeing you play the music that I've listened to for a long time. Would of loved to have had the opportunity in meeting you and attended your instore apperance. So here's to hoping that hopefully you will tour again soon to Perth and maybe holding some kind of guitar clinic showing some tricks on how easy you make it look. We may all live in space at times but nothing bets coming down to earth. Thankyou for trully inspiring me when I thought there was no hope left...................

Great to see you in WA joe, great gig. its always nice to see a great muso like yourself so close up. im Originally from san jose california,I have been living in WA for 5years and have been hanging out to see you play here.I rank this gig an eight because ive seen you 10 times and there has been some unforgettable, one of a kind shows,Like Crystal planet tour, the first "an evening with" gigs ive seen, at the warfield ,and new years eve extremist i think ,with the silver surfer dude that came out on a wire.Come back again! Please! i dont think i can wait another 5 years!

Absolutely awesome performance by Joe - loved the two different sets. Only draw back was the shocking sound - venue and setup. :-/ Great to see you back in Perth either way!

heyyyy joe who the hell did your sound the other night? I took 11 mates up in a limo with me who are all big fans of yours - through me i might add 70 bucks a head 50 each for limo and then alcohol was a dear night and still great. But the volume was excessive at a smallish venue, and your rhythm guitarist probably wouldnt recall but i was the guy standing in the front row with his finger dug an inch deep in his ears - nevertheless i have been deaf for two days. I'm a huge satch fan and the playing was great as satch always is, but all in all it was quite boring and you didnt even play that many classics would have liked to have heard echo or mystical potato head groove thing. Steve vai played metro city last year in july at metro city and the show was i hate to say 10 times better. It was much more captivating the backup band was much more impressive (billy sheehan, tony mcalpine) and i wasnt deaf after two days, and mostly it was more of a show. I found this concert on the 22 to be boring and almost just like a jam. Quite disappointing for something i have been looking forward to since i was a kid. I know people will be annoyed with what I have said, but im not going to sit here and sugar coat something i found to be average, and all musicians have bad gigs and cop a bit of criticism, even in joes calibre. I could go on all night about how disappointing it was, but my opinion is just a piss in the ocean that accounts for who cares you will think what you will, all I can say is you were better on the dvd's where is vai is better than his dvd's and his dvd's are awesome. would like to have seen stu hamm and bring the g3 to australia with paul gilbert. P.S. maybe the new peavey js heads suck? i know the metal looks cheesy!

lots of love and thanks for the inspiration b elphick

Bloody Awesome!!! Satch, you're a legend, your show was absolutely unbelievable, I loved every loud minute! Hearing you bust out 'Alien at the start of the encore was just better than any words can possiblty describe! Great to meet you at the signing at guitar world too, Cheers for signing my guitar! Although I'm kinda sad at the moment - I had a guitar lesson last nite and my sweaty arm rubbed off part of your autograph!! I'd also like to mention that I'm one of probably very few who can say "Joe Satriani stole my pen!!" Haha, Cheers!!

Hi Joe, it was GREAT meeting you at Guitar World! i'm glad you liked my painting :) thanx for the photo & for signing my acoustic guitar :)

the show was fantastic! - for the first half i was about 5 metres away from the stage, i got into the music so much, that i think i headbanged too much & by the break i was stuffed! :P so for the second half i hung back a bit further. It's a shame Metro City wasn't available for your gig - there were so many of us wanting to see you!

God Bless Love & Respect Leanne (BigBunny... ... . .......)
