This was the first concert I have ever been to, and it was awesome. Joe Satriani is the best guitarist ever; i don't care what anybody says. I plan to see him again in the future. Keep writing great songs Satch, they're brilliant.

Awesome show guys, fabulous set list......lots of great music, high energy and so much fun.....but that poor chicken!!!! He took flight more than once on stage, and he doesn't have ANY feathers!! LOL!!

The guys played almost 3 hours for this night, the webcast, with extended jams on so many of the songs...I sure wish there was going to be a CD available of this EWJS... Hint, hint? :) Could you put that out along with the webcast? We'd love it!

Anyone who still has the possibility of seeing one of these final shows, RUN, don't walk, to your nearest ticket source and buy one, you absolutely will not be sorry!!

Joe, love to hear you sing, and even more, crazy fun to see you running around and enjoying yourself so much!! Your evolving stage personna is a keeper, we love it!

WOW!! Once again Joe, Matt, Jeff & Galen Blow the lid off the Grove Theater!! I had bougt platinum tickets for my girlfriend & I for X-mas months ago. When Joe got sick it was a bummer but not of his doing, we were just hoping & praying that he would be ok. I must say Joe made it up to all the fans that waited!! The PLATINUM TICKETS were sooo worth the money!! The on stage tour was awesome, saw Jeff & had a chance to talk to Mike manning & watch him set up Joe's guitars. Joe was doing an interveiw about his Peavey Amps & took the time to wave at us during our tour. One of the best parts for me was getting to show Mike my custom painted JS-1000, I got great satisfaction to his reply of, WOW!! Met Jon the WEB MASTER , WHAT A NICE GUY!! After the tour we picked our spot to watch the show, which was right in front of Joe. While waiting for the show to start, my friend Patrica from England walks up. She was there to see her 50th JOE SHOW!! Then here comes AUSTON, the winner of the Webcast interview looking like he had just met God. He said the interview went well but only had time to ask him about half the questions he was going to ask. After watching some cool acoustic songs by 2 very talented guys, the show starts. Joe & the guys blasted out 2 1/2 hours of songs from just about every album. For me I think it was the best setlist I've heard to date. My fiancee' is pregnant with triplets & told me that when Joe was playing the babies were kickin up a storm, I guess 3 more Joe fans. By the way ,,I want to thank the people that were nice enough to give her space to be comfortable & not push her up against the stage!! Then comes the MEET & GREET,,Once again Joe was the nicest guy & took time with each one of us to answer questions & sign watever you wanted signed. For me it was my custom JS-1000, Joe was quite impressed with the paint job which made it soooo worth it to me. It was my fiancee's first Joe concert & for her to meet THE MAN was awesome for her aswell as everyone else that had the PLATINUM TICKETS. Matt made his way to where we were and I FINALLY got to meet him. I doubt that joe will be touring much in 2005 after the shows that are booked have been played, so if you get a chance,,GO SEE HIM!! I also want to thank JOHN from FANFIRE, I must say he made the whole PLATINUM EXPERIENCE worth every cent & made sure everything went smooth,,GREAT JOB!! On an ending note...After the show we went to Denny's to grab a bite, we look over & see Jon the WEB MASTER, so I leaned over and said hi again, He said to me.."You look suprised to see us here eating, I bet you thought we would be up in a PENTHOUSE suite eating gourmet food" I guess touring is'nt as GLAMOROUS as we all think. Anyhow..thanks again to all that made our nite an awesome experience!!

For my first concert ever I wanted to be amazed, and amazed I was. I have only seen Joe in dvd's and of course have been mesmirized at his unmatchable ability to play guitar. I always sat and watched over and over how he plays and always felt a sense of satisfaction that people do exist without interest to the very hazardous web of mainstream popularity. After all that was done I still had one quest in mind, that being actually seing Mr Joe in person (or live at least because Mr. Wallet said no to premium package ticks). That time came and the Grove presented the opportunity. To move straight to the point, I have to say that it was an amazing concert. I can't recall how many times I said, 'IT'S JOE!!!' It was truly exciting. I loved the set list and especially loved "Time" and "Cool#9". The beauty of "Starry Night" was so intense that it aroused within me nostalgic feelings of beautiful starry nights. The crunching intensity of songs like "Up In Flames" and "War" brought out the true multifaceted virtuosity of Joe and the angelic ballads like "Is There Love In Space", "Always With Me, Always With You", and "Morroccan Sunset" brought out his soulful, 'for the love of music' side. Overall and without a doubt this was an amazing show which no fan should miss. It was an honor seeing him for the first time and I will never try to miss him again. On a more humerous note, when Joe anounced "We're filming for a webcast, so do something crazy for us", they then began to play a song (don't remember which at the moment, I think "Satch Boogie"), and Jeff did this incredibly wacky face with his toungue sticking out, that was hilarious! He had fun, oh yeah, Jeff is a crazy awesome drummer!

Yet, another great show. My 17th time seeing Joe. Dug how he played Hordes of Locusts... that's always great to hear live. Jeff was having a blast playing on Hands In The Air, but I think he hurt his right elbow later in the show. Didn't win aftershow passes this time, and I couldn't stay late to ask him after the meet-n-greet. Standing room only in the 1st two sections was a great change of pace from the usual seats only-no standing at prev. shows at The Grove. Cool to hear Joe play 'n' sing Strange! Don't hear that one live, too often. Would've loved to hear and sing along to Big Bad Moon with that packed front section, too.
