Hey Joe, whats up with no Sacramento show on this tour! you came last time, to the Crest, it sold out easy, its the same size about as Ventura, and, AND, the bus drives right by us on the freeway! come on man! your fans dont have time to drive to Frisco and back so late after a show! so what gives?????!!!! Rock on!

Thin Lizzy was strong and in great form ~ had to see the band that provided some inspiration for Metallica. They completed their set with the catchy tune, "The Boys are Back in Town," but I was hoping they would play "Whiskey in the Jar" as well. Deep Purple also had it going on, and those guys looked genuinely happy to be here ~ very energetic performance through"Woman from Tokyo", then we had to cut out early. This was the second day in a row we saw Joe, and I loved his performance as much as the day before! We now knew the setlist ahead of time, so we really had fun anticipating and thoroughly enjoying each song (half from his new album.) Joe wore a mullet wig based on a dare for his final song, "Surfing with the Alien" ~ that would've been a one-of-a-kind photo to take if we were allowed to bring cameras. Joe's music is absolutely mesmerizing and we are so privileged to be able to enjoy his live performances! Thank you, Joe, Jeff, Matt, Galen and crew!

First off, I have to admit that I didn't see/hear much of Thin Lizzy, but what I did see/hear was pretty cool - not great, but entertaing enough for an opener. I have seen the Satch more times than I can count now, and he never fails to amaze me - this show was no exception. The sound was incredible - the Peavey setup was loud AND clear. I was near the front of section 206 center stage, and I was very impressed with Joe's sound setup. As usual, Joe's live re-production of his material was second to none - I was absolutley amazed at the way he reproduced tracks from "Is There Love In Space?" It was a real treat to hear the new stuff live and true to form. AWESOME show Mr. Satriani, thank you yet again! Oh yeah, I believe Deep Puple also played a set - quite impressive. I had never seen DP live, but I've always been a fan of their music. Ian Gillan doesn't have the range he once did, but that is to be expected for a man of his age - he still sounded great, and there was no mistaking his distinct sound. Overall, it was a great show - I give it a 9 only because Joe's set needed to be longer.

Well, I have to admit Thin Lizzy was pretty good, I really enjoyed there part of the show, although
a bit loud, ( we were 6 rows back right in line with the moniters), it was good. This was the 6th time
I saw Joe, he again amazed me, the man is incredable. I always feel so inspired after I see him live,
I dont really like the change in his sound,(peavys), I you can really tell the difference.
Deep Purple were great to watch, and I have to say, Steve Moss is a fantastic guitar player.
He is definitly one of the best Ive ever heard. We got a chance to go back and see Joe, and as in
the past, he was very cordial, just as laid back & nice as could be. He never makes you feel rushed, or like your imposing. So Joe, thank you. The only reason I gave the show a 9, was because hands down the best show I saw joe at was at a winery in Napa last year, very intiment setting,
wasnt crazy loud, just a great time.
