MUCH too short!

The neatest visual I remember was the reflection of the guitar strings on the lenses of his shades on the Jumbo-Tron closeup. Too Cool!

WOW! ! ! Been a fan of Joe's since day one.....My 10 yr old son (has great taste) is a HUGE Satch fan. I have never had a chance to see Joe perform and so I bought My son and I tickets to the show....WOW!! Joe was right on..My son is still in Awe (As am I). Sound was great and Joe was on fire! Only complaint is that there just wasn't enough. Oh Well ... Guess We'll see you guys in Austin.

THANKS JOE ! !

Once again he came, he played, he conquered. There's not much more praise I can give Joe for his consistently rock solid performance than everone else has already given him. I missed the opening act and left after Joe played, but there is no point in watching someone trying to follow the "Great One" (unless you're at a G3 concert) The only song I wanted to hear was the title track "Is There Love in Space" and Joe poured it out just beautifully. Not too short of a set for playing middle slot, I was happy with his amount of time on stage. The concert was supposed to be assigned seating but when Joe came out on stage almost everyone got up and rushed to the front. The ushers didn't seem to mind so my buddy and I went up front too. Joe really pays attention to the crowd and you kind of feel like it is his first concert of the tour because of his energy. You would never guess that he has done this hundreds of times before. This was my sixth time seeing him and he never gives a tired half-ass show. It's always high energy and crowd pleasing.

Whenever there is something bad happening in the world like stupid wars and stuff, I think of Joe's 'Not of this Earth' album. In the liner notes he says:

"As of this moment, I'm putting my own group together as well as recording another solo record, which I promise will turn heads, drop jaws and CREATE WORLD PEACE in our lifetime"

And I think yeah, if everybody in the world heard his music, they wouldn't have time to fight, they would all be too busy air guitaring all the time lol.

Well, now I definitely have to sell some of my belongings on Ebay to buy a $200.00 PLATINUM ticket to the Austin,TX show Oct.30th... Thanks for all the great music Joe, and keep it comin', see ya in Austin.

Definitely a night to remember. This was the second time I saw Joe in 12 years - he still puts on a great show. Come back to SA Joe! The King of Strings was AWESOME!!!

Like always incredible show we lived in Selma Texas.

I really not feel driviing by 7 hours from Monterrey Mexico. Althought we desire more of Satriani, we have to wait until October 30 in Austin; but sharing minutes with Joe in backstage did that the night was still more magic.

Surely it will travel to Austin for the Evening with Joe Satriani and I hope with the G3 you can return to Monterrey, your house in México.

Thanks for the Music and for all the creations.

DuXx

10 ...Of Course 10... I don't think that I could give Joe anything less than that. The show was great. I was right up front at the stage...just wished Joe would've thrown those picks in different directions lol. The song selection was great. My wife got to hear her "Flying in a Blue Dream" and I got to hear "War". All in all it was a great show. After the show I got to shake hands with and talk to Joe. Could there be a more down to earth guy...? Tried as I did, I could not get him to say the slightest negative thing about Yngwie w/ G3... lol. No, but really... it was truly a dream come true to meet Joe and I was speechless standing like a fool in front of him. I won't forget this show....EVER! Hopefully there will be many more to come... Thanks for a great experience, Joe...

Fantastic concert! The band was tight and Joe was focused, fast fingered & frisky. His set list was a nice mix - a little new, a little old stuff. I believe he played Hands In The Air, Satch Boogie, I Like The Rain, GNAAHH, Up In Flames, Is There Love In Space, Always With You AWM, Cool #9, Flying In A Blue Dream, War?...and maybe one more that I can't remember (sorry). All I know is that the music was top notch, as usual. I only wish they could have played longer. I can't wait for his Evening W/Joe tour when he comes back to Austin (the Hogg at UT) and plays more of ITLIS. ...I'm spellbound.
