I have just witnessed perfection and i will never be the same again.... That was my reaction to seeing Joe play at the Sheffield City Hall, it was sublime, it was magic. I have got used to live concerts being acoustically/ tonally inferior, i mean that's the norm. However the sound quality at Joe's concert was just mindblowing, i honestly thought i was listening to the C.D on the hi-fi at home..and as to Joe's guitar playing, well as i said at the start it was perfection, it was from another dimension, another world. So many, many thanks to Joe Satriani for giving me the greatest musical experience of my life.

Had to give it a 10 simply because it had the greatest atmosphere of any Satch gig I've been to - and I've been watching his shows since the G3 2004 tour. Stunning performances from all musicians. I'd go as far as saying that's the best band he's had. Marco Minnemann gave the whole dynamic such great energy, in a way other drummers just can't do. Mike Keneally was great holding the whole thing together in whatever way he could (keys, synths, guitars...you name it!) And Bryan was a highly musical bass player, something that had been lacking the past couple of tours.

Highlights of the set included Flying in a Blue Dream, Lies and Truths, The Weight of the World, and of course all the other classics that get played at all his shows.

The crowd were pumped and it felt like the band and the crowd were just feeding off each other the whole time. Delayed getting a ticket until last week due to having thought I'd 'seen it all before', but decided to get one since I had no plans - and I was surprised by actually going to the greatest Satch gig I've ever been to. Thanks Joe! See you next time.
