Best gig i have ever been too. simon mcbride was a great suport act. Didn't expect satch to use Marshall JVM. I love the feel joe puts into his playing. I would have to say that Always with me Always with you was my favourite song just because its such a classic. I have only been listening to satch for the last year as i learnt a number of his songs from the Super Colossal album for my grade 8 exam and now i am addicted he's the best on CD and Live i was honoured to be able to watch such an icon great show :)

Hi Joe and the band, just wanted to say thanks for coming over to play for us brits again, I've lost count how many times I've seen you play but you seem to get better and better every time. I absolutely loved the show, for me, everything was perfect, the sound (I was up on the balcony, about near the centre) was awesome, I love the new album, and the choice of the older songs was sort of surpriseing but no complaints from me, I could'nt have asked for a better setlist. I also loved the stage setup with the lights n all, fantastic. All in all, we had a great night, please don't leave it too long to come back to our shores. Thanks again Joe, like Simon McBride said, you are without doubt, the greatest guitarist on the planet.

P.s. Why were the guitars tuned down a semitone. P.P.s You only got nine out of ten because nobody's perfect, right.

Amazing! Loved it! I just wish I could have got the chance to have met you again since last time, I have so many questions! But other than that, it was a great show. I think since the last time i saw Joe perform, the show has become a lot more entertaining, especially the compositional side, but also with the video work. That was a cool touch. The band was a great set up; I didn't expect to see Mike (Knealey?) there, he was a great addition to the band and it was great to see Galen and Jeff out there too! I loved all the new material from Black Swans and Wormhole Wizards and was great having the nostalgic feeling from all the old greats!

I loved this show! It's the 4th time I've seen Satch and I think it was on the same level as the last tour. I have to say that I prefer the new tracks live, much more of a dynamic to them as opposed to the CD.

The whole band looked happy together, and enjoyed themselves onstage which is always a good thing. The highlight for me was the encore, when everyone was on their feet the atmosphere rocketed to new heights - and you could see the effect of that on Joe's face! His smile was huge!

The ONE thing that spoiled it for me...and it won't have affected many people, is that because I have perfect pitch and the guitar's were tuned down half a step for the whole show, all the songs were half a step down...so for perfect pitchers such as myself it was very irritating to have the memory of the song in my head conflicting with the sounds coming from the stage! That doesn't mean the gig wasn't insanely good! I was just constantly thinking to myself "wait...this song should be in E, not Eb!" so...that's more a selfish observation really! On the plus said...it meant that Flying in a Blue Dream was in B Lydian...which sounds lovely to me!

Joe's playing was, as ever, mesmerising. Was a real treat to have Mike Keneally in the band, playing everything from the Crystal Planet piano, to the Mystical Potato Head percussion! That was a nice touch! For the first time in my life I heard Galen's electric guitar which was good to hear. And Alan's bass playing was a worthy replacement of Stu Hamm, he had some great moments.

Favourite songs of the night were Littleworth Lane, Why, Satch Boogie and Summer Song

Thanks Joe for a brilliant night! Ignore my musical autism and tune those guitars however you like!
