First time seeing Joe Satriani. Venue was pretty nice. Mountain was better than I expected. Drummer was hilarious, breaking sticks left and right bouncing them off the stage. The show kept my attention and people were obviously getting into the music. The sound quality was pretty decent. There were a few peaks on the bass. Drums were set a bit too high. Overall, Joe's guitar cut clean through any static. We only saw him miss one note, and half the time he had his eyes closed and was looking up. I was disappointed that he didn't play Crushing Day. That was one of my favorites, and I expected that it was on the setlist (I'd seen it on youtube from Athens and another country). We didn't get aftershow passes or any extra stuff, but we were fortunate to meet Joe and Jeff Campitelli out by the bus. We only had to wait in the rain for an hour, but it was worth it. Met quite a few nice people and got to talk to Joe's guitar tech. Personal favorites were Revelation, Ghosts, I Just Wanna Rock, and the neat fusion lick he did. Dont remember which song that was though. All members were very nice, but some of the road crew were just assholes. (Poor guy on the bike) The ending was unique, I wont spoil it, but it was just that, different.

Incredible show guys! My first time visiting the National Theater and first time seeing Joe live after all of these years. The theater was beautiful and the music was perfect. The guys played on well past the standard cut-off time and the crowd still wanted more. My thanks to all of the talented musicians and support staff that made this show happen. It was an intensely cool experience!
