Halloween treats came early last night! I am now convinced Joe is not just an alien but a nuclear powered cyborg who has his programming upgraded every time I see him again! Just incredible! watching Joe perform his many gems I stand there in awe with my gaping jaw and utter things like --> "that's just sick" "that's so sick" and "oh my god that's so f'ing sick!" I'm just glad they didn't let any of those zombies roaming around outside, into the building, but I am sure the mighty Joe would have chased them off for us with his amazing shredding. Speaking of ghouls, 'Ghosts' was one of my absolute faves of the evening, what a cooooooool song man, I want my copy of that. Stu amazing as always, awesome solo Stuuuuuuuuu!!!, Jeff hands down my fave Joe drummer all time always amped to see Jeff play again and awesome Spanish number Galen! one of my favorite styles of guitar, Got Flamenco? Leslie, Corky and Rev just awesome guys! always loved that fat octaver guitar sound Leslie, special as ever and cool Budda amps ya got there, Yo Jer-sey!! Corky still bouncin' sticks of the rims after all these years, last time I saw Corky I was having a beer with him in Palo Alto, CA at the Keystone Club, 25 something years ago! and Rev how you make your hair twirl like that!? ancient Chinese secret? very cool stick bass, sounded just awesome. We had just an awesome time, cannot wait for the next show, we will be there, enjoy the tour guys, be safe and in the words of the legendary Spinal Tap, "Have fun always" Atlanta loves Joe!!!

This is Dave LaRue or wise2u until i lost my username, password and e-mail now i'm stuck with my buddy's id because after writing the webmaster a few times they never replied...this is like the 8th time I've seen Joe, and the second time for Mountain...Joe and Jeff signed my copy of the new cd on thier way to dinner...Thanks guys!! the streets were overrun with zombies while we waited for the doors to open (hundreds of zombies from who knows where...its that kind of nieghborhood) Mountain started the show and though Leslie West's guitar playing has slowed down a bit, I was glad to hear he still has a great voice, the bass player added some energy with his hair twirling and they played a great set..Note: thier new cd that is for sale at the show is really good, its all Bob Dillon songs (i hate Dillion's singing) but mountain does an excellent job of it, with some help from Ozzy on the first track! the awesome stage hands quickly got Joe's setup ready and The Proffessor appeared with " I just wanna rock" starting the set. The new album has a few favorites for me and Andulusia is one, I was slightly disapointed with the live version. they also played a couple of others off the new CD that were much better suited for a live show. One big rush was great to hear live again, as was the crowd chant. I don't know if I'm getting old and jaded or it was just the fact that i was in front of the balcony instead of 5 feet in front of Joe this time, but the energy was not as high as usual...not much movement from the crowd except during "surfing" and some songs actually sounded stale...i guess after you play a song 500 times it must be hard to bring it to life , one more time. I still believe Joe and company are some of the greatest musicians out there, it just didn't blow my mind this go round. The Jam songs at the end were a treat...Joe and Leslie did a respectable job at the blues... I only rated it an 8, but that might just have been me, I will be there next time and hope to get my world rocked then....one last thing: My wife would like for Joe to sing some more, he has a couple of songs every album where he sings, but he hardly ever performs them...even if he were to sample the vocals and play around them it would be great to hear..her favorite song is "lifestyle" ....keep on rockin guys, and as always, THANKS, Dave

Awsome show ! Haven't seen Joe live since '92 Andalusia live was intense !! Cool#9 was right uo there too. Good mix of old and new. Sound was pretty good and enjoyed seeing them in a small club setting. Joe, please consider playing the Historic Tennessee Theater in Knoxville, Tn. on your next tour. Can't wait for your next release. Thanks for a great evening !

The show was laid back, but with the exception of the new songs and Time Machine, the other songs were all the same that you guys have seen on his past dvd's.He didn't play a single song of Crystal Planet and Oriental Melody, what a shame! The jam at the end was very nice.Eric Johnson and Joe Satriani when they do Blues, they are the best ones. But even though it's the music genious playing his music live,i'll always be there! Thanks for the great music!

Mountain was amazing - they definitely surprised some who I guess weren't expecting too much from them. They also seemed to enjoy themselves.

Then Joe came on and blew me away, for the fourth time! He played Time Machine which is one of my favorite songs of his, and which I have never heard him play live. First time seeing Stu live and I absolutely loved him! They all have such a chemistry together, it's unbelievable.

The encore with Leslie and Joe was very impressive, and really enjoyable - played a lot of bluesy stuff. The sound was great!

Happy that Joe chose the Variety Playhouse again - great venue with lots of great picture-taking opportunities and also the chance to meet the guys afterwards which I always love! So this concert definitely gets a 10.
