This was my third Satriani concert and by far the BEST !! It helped that I was on Row 1 - Seat 9 directly in front of Joe !!! The Paramount Theatre is a very nice venue, it suits Joe's show just right - a VERY intimate setting indeed. Sound mix was fine from my seat though Jeff's bass drum was bit louder than everything else. The set list did not change from previous shows and was top heavy on the new tunes - don't get me wrong - the Super Collossal material sounds much more powerful in a live setting. The classics were played and were well recieved by the audience. The show stopper most definitely was Ten Words with Surfing, Satch Boogie,Extremist, Mystical and Summer Song just blowing EVERYONE away !!! The encore was a BLAST with Crowd Chant and Summer Song followed by kick ass renditions of Goin Down and Red House !!!! Approximately 2hrs. and 15 mts. of Satriani magic !!! The crowning touch was the meet and greet - Joe is a very humble and friendly person. Chatted with him for a while as he signed several items for me. Joe was very attentive with all during the meet & greet. If you can - buy the Platinum Package - you WILL NOT REGRET it !!!! I will definitely be there the next time Joe visits Texas. A "special" shout out goes to John Iverson - John you are class act. Hope to see you on the next Tour. Also to the group of PPT holders - had a GREAT time sharing in the Satriani experience - THANKS very much !!

This was the best concert I've ever seen! The music was great and the interaction between Joe and the crowd was amazing! The Paramount is very fortunate to have a musican like Joe appear on stage. and with Joe and his band on stage, you experience muscial magic that keeps you on your feet and yelling for more!!!

Probably the 6th time I have witnessed the show that is Joe. It really amazes me how someone who does this so many times can always look like it's his first time being on stage. This guy truly loves what he does. According to the tour dates this is the 24th time he has done this since the beginning of the tour, but you wouldn't know it by the way he plays and acts on stage. Of course Joe was tight and exacting even when he goes "off script". Galen always the rock, keeps the music backed up nice. The new guy Dave, just as good as the others. And the man, Jeff Campitelli, what can you say that hasn't already been said? This guy is a drumming genius. The bass drum was just a hair too loud, but kind of blended towards the end of the show.

Eric's set was pretty damn good too. I had seen him not too long ago in San Antonio and wasn't really all that impressed. His guitar was overpowered by the other instruments (couldn't really hear him). But also was fixed by the sound guy before the end of the set.

After the encore of "Crowd Chant" and "Summer Song" Eric, Joe, and a man named David Grissom played "We're Goin' Down" like a mini G3 concert pretty cool treat.

Couldn't afford the Platinum this time, too bad. But will start saving up for next time right now for sure. Thanks for the great show... Rob

My wife and I had the opportunity to meet Jeff, Dave and Joe. As hard the these guys work and Play, they had the time to meet their fans after the show and gave their full attention to their fans. My wife and I were happy to tell Joe that we used his song "You Saved My Life" in our wedding as the wedding party came down the aisle. We were really excited to talk to them after the show. It was a great experience and memory for my wife & I that we will remember for many, many years.
