Joe, you are the man! That show was fantastic, better than any other one i've been to of yours. I was kinda disappointed you didnt play anything friom ITLIS, but you gave me a good reason as to why that was...You kicked so much ass, and thank you for playing summer song, adn come back around again in the area on your next leg please!

This was my first Satch concert out of about 15 concerts I've ever been to and this was, by FAR, the most amazing thing I've ever seen. Eric Johnson opened with a nice mix of songs. SRV was great as well as his intro to Cliffs of Dover. I was a little disappointed with his sound though. As mentioned, I don't think it was a reflection of crew, playing, or gear, just the Ballroom itself.

For Satriani's set, it was hard to ask for more. He played damn near everything. The amount of energy and communication was unlike anything I've ever seen before. It definitely helped to already have had Super Colossal pretty much memorized, because he did some pretty fancy stuff that the album didn't have, and felt a good portion of the crowd missed that. Much like the amazing encore "Crowd Chant". That song has the potential to be real cool, but I don't think everyone knew it very well.

Anyway, aMAZING show!

Great Show!!!! Joe and the band were improving left & right thru out the night and it sounded awesome. At one point Joe even said to the crowd : "...sorry, that jam wasn't supposed to happen..." No need to say you're sorry Joe, the crowd let you guys know that it was tight!!!

I'm glad to hear a few gems like "Circles", "Ice 9", "Potato Head" make the list. They were a great blast from the past! A real treat was the extended improv at the end of "Always With you.." I expected the song to end like it has on a few other tours with joe playing soft chords. But then it gained life anew and exploded into a celebration!!! WOW.......simply WOW!!!

Thanks for a great night Galan, Dave, Jeff & Joe.

Only two bummers that night: No solo from Dave & Joe snuck onto the bus before I had a chance to get him to sign my gtr!!

Boze.

3 words for you......... UNBELIAVBLE!!!!!! Seriously, f***in' AMAZING show! Joe was on fire last night. He played pretty much everything you'd want to hear when you see him live.

Thank you Joe and the rest of the band for putting on such a great show! Come back to Starland again, you'll pack the venue every time!

The concert was amazing. This was my 2nd time seeing Joe, and this beats the 1st 1 I think, This has to be my favorite concert ever thus far, and I've been to 10. EJ was awesome, but I'm not a real big fan of his music. But a great player non the less. I went w/my cousin, dad, and girlfriend and they all had fun as well. The only thing I didn't like was the fact the sound quality wasn't the best. It wasn't Satriani's nor the crew's fault, it's jus the venue. I had a very difficult time hearing the notes on the 5h and 6th strings, on the lower frets. but thas w/every show I've seen at the Starland. I guess thas the price you pay for going to a small venue like that. Dave La Rue did an outstanding job, and had a big stage presence. I can't wait for the 2nd leg of the domestic tour. I hope he plays in the area again. GREAT JOB JOE, JEFF, GALEN, AND DAVE!!

Third time seeing Joe. The first show was on the Crystal Planet tour. Eric Johnson was great his live tone is amazing (I bet he has never played with a dirty set of strings) His chord work is incredible. Joe's set was amazing. Eventhough I had not bought his new album the songs went over great (which is rare, usaully new songs by established artists are not accepted right away.) Robot dreams was probably my favorite. Highlights of the show besides the incredible legato phrasing and the whammy harmonic screams ( which could never get old in my book) were Cool #9, Potatoe Head. The crowd was great, it was packed for a Tuesday night show. Aged 8 to 80. I had a wonderful time. Now I must practice.
