What a night! EJ and Satch in one evening. I had seen EJ 4 times but never Joe, so this was a very special evening. Both artists commented on how nice the venue was at Univ. of Buffalo and I must agree; it was the finest theatre (state-of-the-art, acoustically) that I've ever been to.

I was most struck by Joe's total comfort on stage, as a performer. He commands his instrument, the stage and the crowd with a very pleasant demeanor and warmth for his audience. HIs perpetual, big smile is contagious.

Evening's highlight for me: The extended ending to Always With Me, Always With You - this blew me away. After what is usually the song's end, Joe proceeded to jam some of the prettiest major leads to a three-chord progression that was emotional and moving. Beautiful, heartfelt stuff! I can only hope that one of these extended versions makes it to a future DVD and/or CD. AMAZING LEAD.

I am a big fan and am especially partial to Joe's pretty compositions, like AWM, AWY, If I Could Fly and Love Thing. What an ear he has for beautiful melody! But, he can also rock the hardest rock with blazing solos and perfect technical talent. My hat is off to this magician of the guitar. I was smiling the entire show...and, still a week later can't seem to get enough of Joe's music. What a writer, player and performer. -Jeff

In the Lobby after Eric Johnson a fan said "i'm speechless". I wonder what he said after the JS experience? Great show by both.

There is not much for me to say except the best concert ever...considering it was my first ever seeing Satch and concert I have ever been to. Even then I don't think anyone can surpass what he brought with him onstage, and seeing EJ was a huge plus. Both put on an electric performance. It was really nice meeting Joe after the concert, he was really nice and laid back. I was in the front, dead center. It was awesome. You can definitely bet that I'll by another platinum ticket as soon as Joe comes back this way. Joe, Jeff, Dave, Galen, you guys are awesome. I would have given this concert a higher rating if that was at all possible. Joe, I wish I could be up there with you.

First of all the web site is broken...I rate this show an 11. This was my 5th time seeing Joe and I did not think he could do better than last years show in Ventura.

It was a treat seeing Eric Johnson and I thought he did great. The vocals were a little low but I enjoyed the performance. I could see the band was enjoying themselves and they played with a lot of energy. EJ and crew...thank you.

Now for Joe, Jeff, Dave and Galen. The show was FANTABULOUS. Joe was on and was a treat to watch. Dave brought back the energy I saw when I saw Joe with Stu. Jeff... what can be said. You rock. Galen was a solid foundation. I look forward to the time I can see you guys again.

My wife and I were Platinum Ticket holders for the second time. Meeting Joe was even better than the first time. He signed my brand new JS1200 and suggested I get the neck adjusted. Thanx for the advice. I enjoyed the whole experience. We even got a couple of stories from the videos and such. What a treat.

For you guitarists out there Joe says the JSX cabinet design has been approved and should be coming soon. He also said his guitars all have Mo' Joe and he is using the Mo' Joe's.

Thanx to John for making the experience enjoyable.

Joe, Jeff, Dave and Galen...Keep Rockin' and I will see you again down the road. Thanx Joe for all you do for guitarists and fans.

JOE SATRIANI.....how do you keep doing it??? ! You take the energy from the entire crowd and harness it into one kick ass performance after another! Was at the Buffalo show last nite ( 04/10 ) and when you started with "Flyin in a Blue Dream" I could ( and so could everyone else ) feel the energy in the place just swell. You are truly an awesome performer, had the honor of sitting right in front of you for the show and you gave us all your best! I like how your new songs are "evolving" while on tour, getting some great sounds and new fill ins ! The new lights were looking good too. Sorry I wasnt there ( upfront ) for the encore and to do crowd chant ( the Buffalo crowd was alittle weak ) but I had a better thrill watching you from backstage. I was one of the lucky ones John picked to go back for the encore ( two of us ). I stood motionless behind Mike untill you finished Summer Song. That was VERY COOL!!!. Our host John was awesome ! very friendly and nice.(he's running that raffle pretty well too, I bought three)You are a true ambassador of great guitarist, during our meet and greet you made us feel very relaxed. Many were surprised that you were not 10 feet tall, but being in your presence you are nothing but SUPER COLOSSAL! Thanks agian for the nice artwork you did on my JS and noticing the setup and action. I had a hard time playing it today but got over that quick. In closing I must say that your performance and meeting you is one of the most exciting and cool things I have ever done. I look forward to doing it again. THANKS JOE!

Great show, totally blew the show at the Fairgrounds out of the water. Eric Johnson was a great opening act, SRV and Cliffs of Dover were absolutley awesome. As for Joe and the band, they sounded awesome together. Dave and Jeff sounded great together for the rhythm section and Galen sounded great w/the rhythm parts. Joe sounded incredible, his solo's were spot on, although I thought him and Jeff screwed up Cool #9 a little, maybe it was just me though. The sound was great, overall. Big props for the soundguys, everything sounded great. Here's a setlist for you guys:

1) Flying in a Blue Dream 2) The Extremist 3) Redshift Riders 4) Cool #9 5) A Cool New Way 6) Satch Boogie 7) Super Collosal 8) Just Like Lightnin' 9) Ice 9 10) One Robot's Dream 11) Ten Words 12) The Mystical Potatohead Groove Thing 13) The Meaning of Love 14) Circles 15) Made of Tears 16) Always With Me, Always With You 17) Surfing With The Alien ----------- ENCORE: 18) Crowd Chant 19) Summer Song

Allin all, a great show, hope Joe comes back soon, lookin forward to it!

It really was a great place to have the show. Sound was wonderful. Hope Joe continues to play there. There was sooooo much energy in the band last night, Dave made a great addition. Eric played great too, i wasn't disappointed at all. Forgot to tell you last night Joe, but good luck to you and the rest of the crew on the rest of the tour. B)

Whoa Baby! I thought Saturdaize show at the Agora in Cleveland Ohio was something special but last night after a shuffle of my ass 2hour 37 minute off to Buffalo we were treated once again to an etheral experience by Joe. It is so Amazing how one can place that much sound into such a small window of opportunity and nail to the wall with such authority and still look like your/he is having fun! The Arts Centre in Buffalo was beautiful and the mix was tighter than Saturday, guess the ambient quality of a venue does matter. Just wish the audience had a bit more energy. The suttle jams within your presentation of the whole was cool, guess it keeps it interesting for all who take part! Most notable were Cool #9, Always with me Always with you and Summer Song. The extensions/movements added were just too hap-nin' cool especially Always with me Always with you! A new studio/live/podcast/itunes exclusive recording of "Awme AwU" could catch on really quick. Enjoy the day off... Thanks again Joe! If possible maybe a 12th time later this year. All the best to you, your family and the band that tours with you! Take care through time and space... Lejos
