Joe and Vai were fantastic as always at saturday 4. Absolutely amazing! But I canīt say the same about Robert Fripp. He didnīt appear and I still donīt know if he really was there! I prefer to see both of you (Joe and Vai) separate in a 2 hours show as you did in the last time in Brazil. GOD SAVE THE "G2"!!!

Joe this is the second time i had the oportunity to see you here in Brazil... Well you ruled as always, and it's not just because im your fan, you really were in a good performance day. Still some bad stuff happened, and thats why i didn't choose max grade in the rank.

Well first of all, I (and 99% of the brazilian people there) am (and probably will ever be) to imature to understand Robert Fripp sound. To tell the truth I had never heard about his work. And in that night when lights was finally turned off, all those background effects started appearing in screen, i couldn't understand why a roadie was still in stage messing with his les paul and amps. And that impression lasted until the end of your show when you finally said that "the" roadie was Robert Fripp hehehe. Well you are all free to call me dumb there ;) Still, how could I know he was already playng if all lights were off. He didn't introduced himself at all, he wasen't appearing in the screen like you did (i think the crew with the camera didn't know he was Robert Fripp either). We couldn't interact with him, i think both the crowd and Robert were disapoint, because most of the people didn't know he was there, so people couldn't express their fellings or salute him.

Anyway too much for Fripp. Vai was great, all i could say about him other people already told in there. Whispering a Prayer was fantastic, too bad the sound was a little bit too loud, and too bad he didn't finished playng attitude song either.

About you, you had such force in stage, i didn't saw it last time you were here. The first two songs did drive people crazy. I saw they jumping, calling for you, singing the guitar solos. It was really the best part of the show. Also I have all of your CDS and didn't know a couple of the musics you played there so I guess I will be researching for that too.

G3 was good, but a little weird, sound like something was missing... In all the DVDs I've seen there were always 3 musics, and each one of you was in charge of singing one. But it was really cool anyway, Red was fascinating. And Rocking in the Free World was a high point in the show, too bad again Fripp didn't interact like we were waiting for. Anyway the "G2" there with you and Vai along was pretty special to me, you two done the job very well and covered the lack of a third guitar, people could understand.

Well remember im just tryng to post about the felling we had in the show, and that i liked it very much. I only posted all of this non sense stuff with by bad spelled english because i think there is lots of things that can be done so next time G3 comes to Brazil people enjoy for the most. By the way, you can be sure i will be there again =) And in your solo shows too, cause you are still our guitar hero, in Brazil, USA or anywhere around the world.

A G3 concert right in my backyard was more than I could ever have hoped for. Joe and Steve's performance, not to any surprise were incredible. Playing some of the greatest classics of all times caused a commotion that I had not expected from the Brazilian crowd. This did represent a difference from the previous show Joe had brought here to Brazil, where most of the songs were unknown to most of the public a couple years back. There were two downsides to the show (one perfectly understandable): Robert Fripp did not play his solo act, a shame for the handfull of guitar fanatics in the crowd, but, probably for the best when regarding the average atendee who'd probably get lost in Fripp's unique sound. The other downside was the sound quality in the final act. Different from the previous acts, the volume, at times, seemed pumped a bit over the limit of the concert hall, making it hear to hear some of the solos clearly. In all, Joe, Steve and Fripp(even with a limmited participation) were fantastic. The individual acts were more than a fan could ever dream of hearing, and having them play together in front of your very own eyes, Red and Ice9 was worth every second.
