Almost 10. Gave it a 9 because of the choice of Robert Fripp as the third member. Those who saw the 2 DVDs (with Eric Johnson and Malmsteem) where expecting someone with the same punch. He might be great and all, but just doesn´t fit the format. Unfortunately, fans all over the world, since Europe, where complaining about the choice, but nothing was done. I would like to see Van Halen with Joe and Steve. That would be awesome. Anyway, both Vai and Satriani really suceeded, as usual. I´m the hell outta here is something that I can´t stop listening. Rocking in the free world was also remarkable. The crowd loved it. For the fans I would say: spend a few more bucks and get a table. The show is long and hours without a chair are really painfull. Congratulations.

Again a work of art. It is the first time that I see the G3 in action, but already I was to the all shows of the Joe Satriani in the Rio de Janeiro. The guy is the translation of the feeling, creativity and versatility of the sound of the guitar. Joe, you is THE GUY! I also stow in São Paulo in day 5, but I had waited there, I was to speak with Joe Satriani. Is, I was chosen for aftershow: An uneven experience. With all its largeness, Joe if very showed to one simple guy and humble, the same says of the Galen, That was there also. All are of congratulations for the simplicity and attention that in had given them. GOD BLESS YOU!!

Before anything, I think it's important to mention that some people doesn't seem to understand Robert Fripp's sound. People seemed too "skeptical" (To put it nicely) about it at the venue and that wasn't nice. Having said that, all 3 players were fantastic all night long. Robert fripp entered the stage about 3 minutes early and played his stuff for about 20 minutes. At that moment the crowd started to get impatient and at one point he simply left the stage. On the other hand I thought it sounded nice for a kind of intro to the show. Then came Steve Vai and blew our heads of with his Triple neck guitar. Playing You're are Here, Giant Balls of Gold, Juice, Answers, Reaping, Whispering a Prayer, Get the Hell out of here, Bangkok and For the love of god (Not in that order). Awsome playing from the everyone his band. Unfortunately at the start of his set Dave Weiner's amp seemed to malfunction so he only played after Giant balls of gold (Second song). Then Steve went out and the guys started to set Joe's stuff. After about 20 minutes, Robert Fripp sat on his corner again and start to play something for Joe's Entrance. That was really cool! Satriani did some cool licks on it and started out with Hands in the Air. Then he went on playing Satch Boogie, Up in Flames, Cool No9, Always with me, Always with you, Flying in a blue Dream, I like the rain, Is the Love in Space, Gnaahh (Again, not in this order) and a couple of other songs that I didn't know (Gotta find them out later). At this point Robert Fripp was already on stage as he played the last 3 songs with Satriani. So he invited in Steve Vai and they did was I didn't expect: They played Ice Nine together! That was completely amazing! After playing the main part, Robert Fripp started his solo, and I must say he doesn't get behind them at all. Doing some really fast stuff he was followed by Steve Vai. After that Satriani went on and did the original solo from the song (wich was actually a bit faster then the San francisco version. Not complaining btw). After that they did a cover of Red by King Crimson then Steve did a song called The Murder (Didn't know that one). On the end of that song, they conected it to Rocking in the Free World and finished the night. After 3 hours of shows I was beaten. Even though it was great, there were some issues. I wasn't able to buy tickets to sit on the tables so I was really far behind and had to watch the show mostly from the screens. The sound was also too loud and I forgot to take my earplugs :D i was also unable to get a pick from Joe since I was on the back. That sucked bit time, but I'll try again another time ;) Joe, if you read this, I hope you get back here soon man! Same for Mr Vai and Fripp!

Great Show, for the 2 best guitar players in the whole world, Vai and Satrini. Why Fripp was even there?!? HIs intro blew out everyone´s beginning energy!!

But hell... What a show! From Vai going on stage with his triple neck untill "Keep on Rocking in the free world" it was simply great!! Missed The Mystical Potato Head Groove thing and Summer Song though....

Also, what were those tables doing there?! Trying to keep your fans away from the stage?! Hope you change the setting for the audience next time. Hope there will be a next time! Love your sound.

See you.

SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Vai and Satriani were perfect. I also liked Fripp when he played with Joe and Steve in the end but his part of the show was only some chords for 20 minutes... (?)

I loved to see Steve playing 'Whispering a Prayer' and 'I'm the hell outta here' and it was amazing to hear Satch playing 'Flying in a blue dream'. I only missed "Crushing Day" (I shouted 'CRUSHING DAY!!!!' several times but he didn't play it)

And the jam was amazing too (Ice 9 and Red were incredible)
