Joe Satriani does it once again. Having seen him for the 10th time, he never fails to astonish me of his mastery of the guitar. Playing second bill, he managed to cover 11 songs, which is more then I thought we would play. He covered from new to old. Starting off with Hands in the Air and ending with Surfing with the Alien and was even treated to some singing. I can't remark about Thin Lizzy since I didn't sit down to watch them. On to Deep Purple, this was my first time seeing them. They had a good sound and covered most of the songs I wanted to hear. They didn't play that long. There set wasn't that much longer than Joe's. Steve Morse on guitar was great. He fit into the band pretty good playing classic songs adding alittle bit of his flair. Disappointing was the fact that Joe didn't play any songs with Deep Purple. It would have been cool to see Joe and Steve jam out.
