Hi all, from the above list I chose 2002-07-15 Fabrik (Hamburg) Germany, because I did not find the show in 1990 in Düsseldorf at the Tor 3. I guess this was Joe`s first show in Germany. Joe had long hair and playing Flying in a blue dream a big tape-machine delivered the rythm-guitar-part. Anyway, like all other concerts I saw Joe performing this was a brilliant show. Meanwhile inspired by Joe I also started to play guitar. So let`s all keep on rockin`, br, Jojo

halo ich bin der carlos komme aus chile und möchte was echt spannendes zu diesem conzert erzählen
ich bin glühender satch fan und habe mich sehr draufgefreut ihn live spielen zu sehen
ich habe monate davor schon das tiket gekauft und habe mir diesen tag extra frei genomen. beuim koncert war ich an erste reihe quasi , alles schien nach plan...
doch minuten vor satch mit fleyng in a bleu dream anfing habe ich an ein joint kräftig gezogen ..
nun war satch da un habe alles versucht um da bleiben zu können doch mußte ich aufgeben und beim ersten akord von crushing day musste ich rausgehen , mit ein derben absturz und habe mir den rest vom koncert drausen gegeben.....
ich bin selber guitarrist un würde gerne andere satch fans kennelerner um zusamen krach zu machen meine nummer ist 01745164808

A giant 3 hour concert with the band at it´s best!
A superb gig, the best concert I´ve been for a long time.

This Concert was realy amazing. Nine years ago i saw Joe in Hannover on his "The extremist" Tour, that was an experience. This time it was unbelievebal. The new Songs really rocked and my favorite songs from "Flying in a blue dream" were perfect. The slower part with the touch-tapping songs "Headless Horsemann" and "Midnight" was really great. Unfortenally most people didn´t see Joe´s Hands, so that they couldn´t believe that he played this Songs with only two hands and one guitar. (Tip for all guitar players : Buy his Songbooks- it´s easyer to play than it sounds or looks and you can impress everyone). As he played my favorite Song from the new Album "Starry Night" I had to cry. (Like nine Years ago as he played "Cryin´"). Although it was long ago thad i heard the songs from "Flying in a blue dream" i remembered every note and i could sing every word from "I believe". Hey Joe why don´t you used those Touch-Tapping Songs and your voice since "Flying in a blue dream" on your followed Albums? I´m looking forward to hear those songs on your next CD´s!!!!!!! Luckily i was one of the few persons how had won an aftershow pass. It was a real strange situation standing outside the Hall with the buddyguards and Joe. He was really relaxed and very nice (and short-sorry Joe, but i thought you were taler). He had a little time for small talk and signed my Extremist T-Shirt. I was really impresed that Joe was so relaxed and fresh after this show of 2 1/2 hours of power. For an old fan who listend to Joe´s music over ten years ("Flying in a blue dream" changed my life!!!) it was one of the days i never will forget. Thank you Joe and I´m looking forward to hear your coming Albums and see you next time in Germany.

Great beautiful show!!! BUT I was VERY disappointed that Joe didn´t gave autographs (just to the Backstagepass-Winners)! We waited for an hour and Joe didn´t had a few minutes for his fans!!! REALLY SAD!!!

Yeah, it was really a great show, great playing as well!!! But Joe didn´t sign anything exept for the people with aftershow passes. He didn´t even look at the other fans waiting for him to sign their stuff as he walked by. No talk, nothing. That´s not the best way to treat your fans, Joe... :-(

The whole concert in Hamburg was an explosion of pure guitar energy ! Fantastical performance from all bandmembers. 2 and ½ hour "alientime", incredible......
I am a guitar player too, so this was a first class guitar lesson for me. I was standing in the first row , I think 1 meter from Joe away. I t rocks me like a hurricane his speed and powerful guitar playing. And here the complete setlist: Flying in a blue dream, Crushing day, Devil´s slide, Cool # 9,Belly dancer, Ice 9, Mind storm, Seven string, Mystical potato head groove thing, The Extremist, The crush of love (at the end the beginning from Memories), New last jam, Summer song, The headless horseman,Midnight, Starry night, I believe, Oriental melody, Mountain song, Why, Matt & Jeff Soloper-formance ( they are animals ), Alway with you..., Raspberry jam, Surfing with the alien ,Encore: Satch boogie & Friends. There was no break in the set. Only one break for the encore.Thank you and happy birthday Joe.
