I've just returned from doing some press and clinics in Moscow, London, Paris and Frankfurt, just in time to launch the release of "Is There Love In Space?" with a US press/performance tour! I'll be playing songs from the new CD as well as a few old fav's at radio and TV stations as well as record stores. Take a look at the schedule Jon has included to see if I'll be in your area.

As you may have already heard we will be not only touring Europe this summer as G3 with Steve Vai and Robert Fripp, but also the USA with Deep Purple and Thin Lizzy starting in mid August. All outdoor shows!

Our "Evening with Joe Satriani" style US tour is tentatively set for this fall, I'll keep you posted on that.

It's great to see all the positive reaction to the new solo CD already spreading across the T2J pages; Thank you all so very much for listening to my music.

I would like to thank all of you for making our latest G3 outing a great success. A great time was had by all. I've been home for less than 24 hours and it feels like the tour just flew by at warp speed.

The mixing of the forthcoming double CD and DVD of the Kansas City and Denver shows will begin in a few weeks in the hopes of an early 2004 release. I'll keep you posted from the studio of our progress.

And, just as one thing wraps up, another is launched; November 18th is the release date for "The Electric Joe Satriani, An Anthology". A collection of 28 essential tracks compiled by...you guys, the fans at SATRIANI.COM. Plus two bonus tracks from the Strange Beautiful Music sessions. I wrote the liner notes and included, for every song, a short story about how the compositions were started and where they took me creatively. And...finally the release of "The Satch Tapes" on DVD. Yes, the original collection of "made for MTV" style videos, plus, out takes, old studio footage, interviews and of course, actor Christopher Guest's special appearance as Spinal Tap's Nigel Tufnel making sure we don't take ourselves too seriously! The classic Satch Tapes has finally been brought into the modern age with its release on DVD! Available everywhere on Nov 18th, we're also be doing a giveaway where 10 lucky SATRIANI.COM members will receive an autographed copy. The G3 U.S. tour just wrapped up and was a resounding success! Thanks to all of the fans who came out and supported the tour-- it's incredibly helpful in securing future G3 tours and showing the pop music world that there's a big audience for guitar-driven instrumental music. On this tour we gave away aftershow passes to SATRIANI.COM members for every show which ended up in around 90 fans being able to hang out backstage after the show show and meet the guys.
